As you reach the clearing you see Kate standing in the middle of it. At least you’re thinking it's her, because she has her back towards you. But you recognize her hair and you can't imagine anyone else voluntarily walking around naked through the forest in the middle of the night.
“Hey, Kate, are you alright? Tex told me you’re in danger.” The moment these words leave your mouth you realize that something seems off. Kate doesn't seem to react to you at first. After a few moments she mechanically turns around to smile at you a bit too brightly.
“We– I am fine,” she said emotionlessly while keeping her smile.
That sells it, something is definitely wrong. Even Tex is nervously shuffling around on your shoulder. Only then does it hit you. Kate is supposed to have the elephant ears and trunk you originally had, but her face looks completely normal again. Looking downward you also see she has normal hands and feet again. How was she able to find a cure that quickly?
A convenient ray of moonlight finds its way into the clearing and reveals that answer to you. The latex sheen covering her whole body is glistening in the light. Another important feature you somehow missed is a long latex tube seamlessly coming out of her stomach where her belly button would've been and leading somewhere into the darkness, almost like an umbilical cord. It reminds you of the tubes Lascivia used to move someone's essence.
“What happened to you?” you exclaim.
“Human,” she says monotonously. “You had promised to help me, only to take away my face and discard me in the woods, alone and naked.” You notice something apparently being pumped into as well as out of Kate through the cord. Her body starts shifting and takes on the form you last remembered her with, large ears, hooves and a trunk. “I felt so betrayed by you. But then they appeared and offered to help me. I only had to join her. Join them. I was so desperate to regain my body that I agreed. And you wanna know what?” Her face shifts back to fully human as she shows emotion for the first time since you saw her, pure ecstasy. “I don't regret it one bit. I’ve become part of something greater, something truly beautiful.”
You hear rustling and see several women coming out of the bushes surrounding you. All of them are naked, have latex skin and umbilical cords connected to their bellies additional to the random animal features each of them sported. Kate continues, “we share everything, thoughts, emotions, essences. Before we were rescued, each of us had lost part of her humanity. But between all of us there's enough human essence to give some of them their body back. Though so much more is possible. If you ever hated a part of your body, hair, eyes, feet, you can just trade them with someone else.” As if to emphasize that point, Kate’s cord and that of a punk woman behind her pump again and only moments later they have pretty much traded hairstyle and color with Kate now featuring a pink-dyed sidecut.
“But like you taught me not so long ago, if you take something, you also have to give up something.” Suddenly multiple of the cords, including Kate’s, start pumping again and you see the animal parts of several people disappear and be replaced by human ones. Kate starts to change again, but it is so much you can barely keep track. Rabbit ears come out of her head, her pupils become slitted, a beak grows on her face with a forked tongue poking out of it, her ears sharpen into points, her hands become different kinds of paws, her breasts enlarge into udders, butterfly wings and a bushy squirrel tail grow out of her backside, a balless, knotted penis emerges over a vagina which fuses with her butthole into a cloaca, one leg turns into a zebra leg and the other into a leopard's with the latter ending in a hoof and the former into a talon.
“Our savior scours these woods in search of people like us, who were affected by the latex creatures,” Kate speaks almost as if preaching. “Through her abilities we are allowed to experience full humanity again for a while. But in turn we also have to learn to appreciate the opposite. Can you see the true beauty of this body, gifted to me by Mistress Miscea?”
You can hear Tex, who has been hiding behind your head so far, gasp loudly. That's definitely not a good sign. As if to answer your thoughts, another figure emerges from the bushes and it might be the most bizarre creature you have seen this night. It looks like a female body with the obligatory latex skin, but without any limbs. It moves by floating several feet over the ground. This seems to be accomplished by its big head, which looks like an overblown balloon with all the features of a grinning face only drawn on it. The opposite end of that body is taken up completely by a massive vagina, where all the latex cords seem to be originating from.
For a moment this human-shaped balloon is just floating and staring at you, when suddenly Kate speaks up again. Though the voice that comes out of her mouth is completely different, making it fairly obvious that this Miscea is speaking to you through her. Oddly enough, the face she’s making throughout all of it makes it seem like she's receiving lots of pleasure being used that way.
“Well, well, well, what do we have here? Another lost human ready to become one with us? We can easily tell there's not much human essence left inside of you. But what is this? We can feel pain and betrayal coming from this one. Can we really save someone, who hurt one of us? What should we do with you?”
That's a good question. What should you do now? What can you do, now that you're face to face with another of those latex deities?
