While the two girls were coming to terms with what just happened, Benjamin was a little confused as to why both girls had shot out of the room so quickly. Surely it couldn't be anything bad... Brianna wouldn't do anything DANGEROUS...
So he got into the shower and rinsed off all the soap, slipped into a robe and some soft slippers, and followed the bubble trail to the upstairs sauna.
"That's strange, " he mused to himself, and saw the girls inside, naked, sitting on two benches talking to each other.
So he opened the door. Both the girls stopped talking, and smiled at him as he entered, shooting glances at his package before looking back at his eyes.
"So... care to explain what's going on?"
"We're just talking about what to do now." Freya answered
"What to do.. what happened?" Benjamin repeated.
"Brianna changed me in a way I wasn't expecting.. but now that she's explained it... actually I think it's pretty sexy," Freya's voice got huskier as she talked.
"So.. everything's fine?"
"I'm okay.. but i'm still a little overwhelmed. It's a lot of responsibility." Freya answered, looking at Brianna.
Brianna followed up. "It'll be okay. It's nothing we can't handle with the chronovac." She gave Benjamin a knowing look.
"Alright... so everything's fine now? You're happy with things the way they are?" Both girls nodded. Then he did.
"Okay. That's settled then. Where's the chronovac?" Benjamin asked.
Freya picked it up from the bench beside her. Benjamin put out his hand, so she handed it over.
"Alright then. Just one last thing to fix."
"What's that?" Freya asked.
"I noticed before," Benjamin explained, as he opened the chronovac app. Hmm.. overheating warning? Must bet the sauna. But he wouldn't be in here long. "That all the changes you two have made since this started have been temporary."
Both girls nodded, Freya a little more slowly than Brianna.
"But I don't want this to ever end. We're going to have to fix that."
Freya looked wide eyed. Brianna looked less shocked than concerned, but neither moved to stop Benjamin from going to both of their profiles and clicking the "Set All as Default" on both of their profiles. An error message popped up. "Pending transformations in queue. Apply transformations to default?" he wasn't sure what that meant, so he said yes. A notification showing 1 pending change appeared on screen. "WARNING: Defaults will override previous saved forms. Current form will become new default" he again pressed yes. And then "Error: Full Identity Erasures require User Verification. "
"Okay, I guess I need you two to consent to this..." he handed the phone to Brianna first, who looked it over and, unsure, shook her head. She handed it to Freya, "What do you think this means Freya?"
Freya took the phone, a clear look of unhappiness and resentment on her face. But soon that changed to devious... she looked at Brianna.
"Lets do it."
"Seriously?" Brianna scoffed.
"Really. Trust me." She touched the fingerprint reader on the back of the phone. It turned green.
A robotic voice announced "User 1 has validated. Existential changes require all parties to confirm."
Brianna looked at Freya for a long moment, doubtful. Benjamin sat on his hands, trying not to laugh. He was so close! Brianna's look changed from doubtful, to calculating. Freya still looked awfully suspicious.. but Benjamin just waited. He knew he had to play them against each other this last time...
