Sarah waited for one of her parents to pick up, worried about what they'd say. Would they tell her no? Would they make her stop seeing Luke? Would they hate her for doing this? Sarah sighed, but soon enough she heard her mom on the other end.
"Hello?"
"Hey Mom."
"Oh! Sarah. How are things going over there?"
"There good, but there was something I wanted to ask about."
"What is it?" Sarah gulped a little.
"Well.... You know I really like Luke, and.... We were goofing around a little, and wore some cloths together just for fun, but.... It's kind of... nice. And I was wanting to see what you'd think about the idea of me and Luke staying... attached all the time. Almost like conjoined twins." The other end of the line was quiet for some time, but a surprising answer soon came through.
"So.... All those years of seeing how happy Ethan and Alisa were rubbed off on you a little?" Wait. Years? "Me and your dad had had it in the back of our minds that you and Luke may decide to try and be like them. How often are you wanting to be like that." Sarah was still in shock, turning to Luke to see a similar face.
"I.... We were thinking just when we see each other at first, but we both really enjoy this." Sarah's mom seemed to chuckle on the other end.
"Ok. Just make sure you two switch houses every now and then so we all get a chance to see you."
"I-we will Mom. Thanks for understanding." Sarah then hung up the phone, looking at Luke. "Years?"
"Yeah, I know. Weird." Luke looked back at his parents, confused. How could...? Then looked at Sarah, turning them to took at Ethan and Alisa.
"Did something happen that you haven't told us?"
