“Come on! We could go flying or breath underwater and talk to fish or-" Vicky excitedly rambled on a bit.
Becky however cut her off and said "Or we could let ourselves be pampered. The best food ever, everything prepared for us, and the vacation never needs to end!"
"But with great power comes great responsibility!" Vicky parroted half trying to convince Becky and half trying to convince Drew to grant them super powers.
Drew himself said, "I mean I could solve all the world's problems, but that could create other issues,” as he tried to get some peace to think.
"Come on you two, can't you see Drew can't think for himself?! Stop pressuring him!" Gloria said trying to be helpful.
Drew got upset and shouted “If you were boys you’d be so much easier!” and buried his face in his hands for a moment.
“So, dude, what do you want to do with this power?” asked a distinctly male voice, as Drew felt a hand on his shoulder.
Drew looked up. Where Gloria had been was a redhead young man, with some wild hair, a lean body, and a masculine version of her face. Memories flowed into Drew’s head of this boy being his lifelong best friend. “George?” he whispered.
“You okay, bud?” George asked gently. “Sorry they were pressuring you so much.”
“Yeah, we’re sorry. It’s just exciting to think of the possibilities, you know?” said another male voice.
Drew looked in that direction and saw another young man with brown hair where Becky had been. Instead of big boobs, he had big pecs that caused him to avoid shirts unless necessary, in which case they were specially tailored for his massive chest. The guy was tall, very handsome, like a model, and had big muscles everywhere. Drew recognized him suddenly as Ben, the college BMOC whose good side Drew had been working to get on for the last year or so.
He looked around and saw a rail-thin boy with blond hair who nevertheless towered over all of them. He had a shy and nerdy look to him, the way Vicky had. Drew remembered him as Vinny, the nerd of the college, who was apparently Ben’s best friend since childhood. Quite an odd pair, Drew had always thought.
George said, “So Drew, what do you want to do?”
