You were about to call for the Guards when you saw the Farmers enter your Throne Room, but stopped yourself,
when you noticed how respectful they seemed.
Erring on the side of caution, you decided to wait for what they had to say first.
"We're sorry for disturbing you, your Majesty, but i was in our barn, after your recent stay,
and noticed something shiny lying in the hay. We immediately came here after realizing that it was you Nosering."
You almost thought you had misheard and watched him pull a shiny metal ring from his pocket,
before presenting it to you with both hands.
You gestured for one of your Guards to take the ring, attempting to stay in character.
"You have done well returning my property. You may take your leave."
The Farmers bowed and left, leaving you to your thoughts.
Did the spell make them think that the Nosering belonged to you?
Did they think that they gifted it to you, or did they think that it had always belonged to you?
Why did they seem more respectful then when they requested for an audience the first time?
You were so caught up in your thoughts, that you didn't notice the Guard, that received the ring from the Farmers,
approaching from your side, until he grabbed you by your chin and thrust the Nosering through your Septum.
The Guard put the Nosering through the exact same spot where it had originally been,
but you had healed the hole where the Nosering was when you were a Cow, after arriving at your Palace.
You cried out as the Guard forced the ring into place.
It took you a moment to realize what this could mean, being too distracted by the pain.
The Nosering was a Magical Item designed for Cows, there was no way of knowing what it would do to an Elf.
