Nate and his friends were eager to enter their rooms. When they entered the submarine’s front doors, they saw what resembled the inside of a fancy cruise ship’s hallway. However, there was a series of stairs that went to the submarine’s tower.
“Your rooms are within here. I will be doing business on the upper floor of the tower if you need me.” Amara said.
“Okay. Thanks, sister.” Nate said as he and Rose went to their cabin in the middle of the hallway. Amara smiled at her brother’s gratitude and proceeded to swim away to her own business.
Kenny and Kelly had a cabin right at the end of the hallway, the two of them smiled at each other as they had obvious plans on what to do in a private room together.
Nate opened the door to the room to see a very comfortable room. It was lit with ruby tinted crystals on the ceiling. In the room was a large that was just fit for two.
Near the bed were a desk and a small shelf of books that neither of them recognized. Which was odd because Mike and Stacy were huge bookworms that introduced them to a ton of books - Now it was clear there’s a whole underwater world of literature that was going on just under their noses.
Before Nate could say anything, the submarine began to move, causing the couple to fall to the side, causing some of the books to float around. After Nate recovered his balance by a flick of his tail, his eyes were met with the naked view of the female mermaid anatomy from a medicine book, causing him to blush a bit and promptly close the book shut before placing it back on the shelf.
Rose flicked her tail to see a book with lovely illustrations of magical sea creatures and merpeople. She gently closed the book and checked to see what the title was.
“A Guide To Vapocadeon Legends, Tales, and Its Creatures.”
Curious, Rose skimmed the book to suddenly see an illustration of the white creatures that caused her and her friends to become merpeople in the first place. Her eyes widened at what the caption below the illustration said and was about to alert Nate right before he suddenly flicked his tail away and focused his attention on something else.
The main treat of the room was a large glass window that gave sight to a wonderful view of the ocean. Nate and Rose swam to the window to see the sights of many colorful fishes. Along with the sights, the couple saw a rainbow of coral reefs moving right past them. Denji was right, it really blew the Great Barrier reef out of the water.
“Look at the view,” Nate said in awe. “All these years… and I had no idea this was meant to be my home.”
Rose looked at her merman with longing eyes. “Not just your home, Nate. It will be our home.”
With a grin, he grabbed his fiance and gave her a long passionate kiss. Rose felt herself melting within his strong but loving hold. The transformation made his body stronger, likely strong enough to handle an average human that would try to harm him, but it didn’t lessen how cuddly Nate was when her body rested against his.
Rose felt herself moaning before Nate gently loosened his embrace.
“I would like to hold off on… escalating this… until after the wedding. Is that alright?” Nate said, sound a bit embarrassed.
Rose was silent for a moment before an understanding smile appeared on her face and she nodded. “Sure.” She said.
The mermaid laid her head on her merman’s chest. “But after that, we’re going to many babies.” She said, some lust still in her voice.
Nate chuckled and gently returned to embracing Rose. Even though she wasn’t that conservative compared to her Catholic parents or the people in her Irish heritage, he was glad that she understood where he was coming from. It wasn’t as if he was scared of sex but he felt that, if he wanted to keep the faith of his kingdom, then maybe he should keep his virginity.
Granted, he didn’t know if the faith of his people was more Abrahamic, pagan, or generally Eastern but he assumed religion wouldn’t like a prince that had premarital sex as often as Kelly and Kenny, for example. He got a clue or two based on Amara’s words.
“The royals are different of course and so is the military… Royals are expected to wear more clothing.”
The two eventually released their embrace and Rose finally spoke up. “I wanted to show you something, Nate. Come look at this.”
Rose brought the book to Nate’s face, letting him process the information of the white fish creatures that took their legs away.
“Wait… Those things are considered… Holy animals?”
Rose nodded. “Strange, isn’t it?”
“Yeah. Well, what can we do about it? I’m not too good with this kind of stuff compared to computers.” Nate said, shrugging a bit.
“We could show this to Mike and Stacy. There’s quite a lot of information here that seems more of their speed.” Rose said, closing the book.
