With Christmas coming in two weeks, a number of things were starting in Animalia, mainly for Animalia's Christmas Exposition. There were several rehearsals going on for the various performances, and orders were being places for food for the Christmas feasts/parties going on. While the pandemic wasn't completely ignored, it seemed to be getting into the end zone for a cure/vaccine, even though there were those who would be refusing to use it. But there were some news that made things a bit more bearable, even if it did cause some people some headaches.

After the success of Rose's transformation, even though nobody really knew how she became a pink-furred mountain of mouse muscle, there were other girls who were beginning to sign up for conversion, but there were a few that caused the scientists there to shake their heads in confusion.
There was one girl, named Mizu, who signed up to be a water snake, but why she had been taken by the traffickers was a little confusing since she didn't stand out too much compared the other girls. In fact, the only reason that she did stand out was the fact that the traffickers had grabbed her after pool water had interacted with her shampoo, thereby turning her hair blue. This did give a clue to why the traffickers had grabbed her as well as Rose, though not enough to go by. After Mizu became a water snake Animalian, she began spending a lot of time with Nuregami.
Another girl named Mai, however, wanted to be a domestic cat Animalian with brown and orange stripped fur, which was really easy for Horizon. But the reason for her conversion was a bit more of a headache.
Not only did she seem to be constantly hyped up and energetic, she was an extreme "otaku" (as some of the girls had described her) for games like Street Fighter, King of Fighters or similar games, as well as television shows like Thundercats. Part of what made her an "otaku" was the simple fact that she was a really good amateur clothing designer and was capable of making cosplay costumes based off of her favorite female characters. Another thing, which was the one that gave the Horizon Scientists headaches, was the simple fact that she seemed to want to be an Animalian so she could be like said videogame/TV characters. Even though they tried to dissuade her by telling her that the change was irreversible, but she wouldn't change her mind.
After her conversion, she immediately began modifying her favorite outfits to make room for her tail, as well as other modifications to make them more comfortable. While she seemed to be a bit more "stable" after her conversion, a word was sent to Heiya Island's Skye-Eye units to keep an eye on her to make sure she didn't bite off more than she could chew.

Miss Fabina was also experiencing a headache of her own, but that was because she had just gotten done reviewing the files on the formerly "pumped up, plastic" girls before meeting with them. While they were all, clearly, different races from each other, the fact that there were so many similar features made it clear what their old owner was after. Not only was he after the "plastic hourglass" look, but he was also after the "bimbo barbie" look.
Their mental evaluation also seemed to show that they would share one "group" apartment between the two of them, similar to the "Mane Six", as they had become unofficially known on the website, as well as all be signed up for homosexual anonymous classes. But it was also clear that Miss Fabina would have her work cut out for her in helping them rediscover their "old selves", so she thought that having them choose different species would be a good way to start.

There was also minor news from Mieni Atoll in the form of a new Fun and Fins episode. Susan had dragged Tzan (again) to meet Beacon and Allura's new spawnlings but when she leaned over them to coo at them one of them, one of them leapt up to bite Susan on the tip of her beak. Fortunately they still didn't have any teeth so this didn't cause any damage other than give Susan a fright, causing her to jump in surprise, fall backward, and land on her tail. Tzan wasn't the only one who seemed to find this funny.
