Brad had just driven up in his Daisy Hill Dog Training Academy SUV, when he saw the pug dog come flying out his father's office window. He parked his vehicle at an angle, and dashed to intercept the fleeing small dog. Chad kept looking over his shoulders as he ran. He didn't see Brad until the boot stomped in front of him. He paused to pivot around the pivot and a pair of heavily gloved hands grabbed him.
Brad held the dog up to his face and scrutinized it. He bit his lip, "You sure don't look like my brother, but I think Chad is the only dog that would try escaping out dad's window.
Chad balked. Brad knew? Brad was in one Karl's scheme?
Brad carried Chad over to his SUV, which had been converted to a dog kennel transport van by removing the back seats, putting in a heavy duty plastic floor, steel mesh caging, screened windows, hooks for leashes, etc. He locked Chad in a crate, and closed the door.
Dylan had just dropped down from the office window when Brad reached him.
"Got you escapee locked up in my truck, warden," he said.
"Thanks, Brad, I've never seen a dog bolt like that before. I was just putting him in his kennel for the night, and he bit me, raced passed the receptionist, down the hall and out dad's window. I suppose he either smelled or heard the outside noises coming from the window?"
"Probably, so let me guess that's Karl's dog. I was stopping by to get acquainted with his pug before it starts obedience school," Brad explained.
"Oh, yeah, that's Karl's dog," Dylan answered.
"Well, since he's already in the truck, perhaps I should take him now?"
"No, dad's not finished with him. He's scheduled to be neutered tomorrow. "
Brad raised an eyebrow. He looked up at Karl in the window.
He remarked, "Neutering may complicate his training schedule. Let me get him for you. I'll make sure he stays in his cage this time."
Brad went to his SUV and released the cage from its floor mount, and carried the yapping dog cage and all into the veterinary clinic. Brad was darker, shorter and stockier than the tall blond twins, but their faces were similar. Brad went to the cage that Dylan designated. The whole time Chad yapped madly and banged against the walls of his prison.
Brad opened the clinic cage door first, then he lifted open the carrier cage door. He abruptly tilted the cage sending the pug tumbling into the clinic cage. Then he slammed and locked the cage door as Chad charged and crashed into it.
"I was looking forward to breaking your balls, dog, but you'll be easier to train without any balls, I suppose, " Brad said with a shrug.
Dylan stared at Brad for making such an odd comment.
"I see you met my dog Chad," Karl said.
Brad raised an eyebrow, he had plotted with Dylan to turn Chad into Karl's cock hound, but he had thought he was going to use a different name like Champ or something. The dog didn't resemble his brother physically in any way he could see, so maybe it didn't matter if he was called Chad or if he was neutered. Still he was irked that he'd been left out of the loop.
Brad commented, "So you named it Chad, and decided to neuter him?"
"Oh, yes. Didn't decide to neuter him until your father and Dylan explained all the benefits of neutering just a bit before he tried to escape, in fact. You don't have a problem with that, do you?"
Brad laughed, " Heh, heh, yeah, no problem. If the dog heals quickly training should go as scheduled, but if he's slow at healing, well we'll see? He seems to be one smart animal, escaping in order to try to save his balls."
