Allison woke up slowly, only taking a moment to realize that she was in a hospital bed. Her vision was dark, so dark that she could barely see anything. She was shaky, and could barely move. Slowly, she took her hands and felt herself from head to toe. The first thing she felt was her face, now covered in so many wrinkles it was barely recognizable, jowls hanging down and covering her neck. Her hair was sparse and frizzy. Her breasts had sagged beyond believability, like half empty sacks of soft tissue that dropped past her stomach. She couldn’t reach any farther then that, and her legs refused to move
Through a great deal of difficulty, she managed to look around at the room. Alice was still by her side. “Grandma, are you alright? You scared me when you fainted like that” she said, concerned. Barely capable of speech, all she could get out was a groan. Her eyes turned to her nightstand, where she saw the phone, the one that had the app ready to fix this situation. She weakly gestured for it, and Alice quickly brings it to Allison’s side. “What is it, Grandma? What do you need?” She asks. Allison ignored her, and opened the app, as quickly as her weakened limbs were able. Already, she could feel the life beginning to slip from her. She generated a sentence
“Alice sits beside her greatly aged relative”
Barely conscious, she picked a word and changed it too...
