“TJ, time for Dinner!" called Rose, his Mother, from downstairs. Tj turned off the computer monitor before heading downstairs, completely unaware he was about to begin transforming into the monster he just designed.
He sat in between his mom, and his dad, Doug.
Doug was a scientist, but a rather absent-minded one. He always encouraged his own scientific endeavors, no matter how crazy they sounded. And they often were.
He was a big jolly man with brown hair, and a small beard round his mouth, with blue eyes, and a pot-belly. He wore his white scientist coat over a green T-shirt, blue jeans, neon blue socks and black sneakers.
TJ half listened to his parents make small talk about about his day as he ate his dinner.
He was thinking about being a monster, and of how cool it would be.
Later that night, TJ went to his bed, giddy with excitement about transforming into a monster. He also wondered if he could turn other people into monsters, not just himself.
He especially figured it’d be good to give his dad a break from being a scientist, so he could be a monster, so he could spend time with him, since he never had much time for his family.
Early, the very next morning, TJ got up and went to the bathroom, and saw his reflection in the mirror.
He saw not his usual human self, but instead, he saw a slightly taller version of him, with blue skin, green hair, larger feet with clawed toes, 3 fingered hands, and a cyclops eye, wearing his pyjamas.
TJ was amazed. "Holy cow!" He said. "The monster tf site worked!"
Tj was a monster.
He made a mental note to thank Chris next time he saw him.
