As Kyle said those last words a breeze blew across Jennifer. She looked over at the window in her room looking for the source of the breeze she just felt.
A shiver ran down her spine as she noticed that the window was closed. Realizing she was still holding her phone to her head she lowered it and looked at her phone.
An idea came to her “What Kyle said is just getting to me there is no way it is true… and I know the perfect way to check.”
She scrolled through her recent messages in her phone. “Now who am I dating again?”
“Ah yes it’s Stewart from the track team!”
As she scrolled through her messages she found the messages from Stewart.
They were all platonic messages between them. She knew she had a dick pic from him from last night, but now there was nothing the last message was five days ago where Jennifer congratulated Stewart on winning the recent race.
She did congratulate him after the meet and imply that the metal wasn’t the only thing he would get later.
But the message she was looking at was more of thanks from a friend of a friend and not girlfriend and boyfriend.
Her hand was shaking and she quickly logged into her Facebook; the most recent post was the wedding pictures of a girl she knew from childhood, but just lost touch over the years. The pictures were of her with a group of girls with sadistic smiles on their faces, she was wearing what you could call a wedding dress…of sorts. It was a more of white lace lingerie with a long white train and she had put on a forced smile as she looked at the camera subtly trying to keep some modesty. There was a title under the picture saying “weekend wedding… yay!!” Jennifer was unconvinced that Catherine was actually happy based on the expressions she had in every picture with her new wives.
Jen felt light headed, her world had really changed…a lot. She bit her lower lip contemplating not going to school. ‘To hell with it, I need to see how different the world really is.’ She thought as she began looking for her missing garments with more haste.
Getting into her car she sped out of the drive way and to the school.
So far it wasn’t much different there were a few new students and a few less. Jennifer looked at her phone, she still had some time before classes started she tried to be discreet as she looked around. It was only her class that had new students and everyone was strangely platonic with each other. Normally everyone would be flirting with each other and touching each other, but now the only people touching were in relationships.
Wanting to check out more people Jennifer walked towards her locker so she had an excuse to be nosy elsewhere. She opened it and checked herself in the mirror she had in it. Mainly going though the motions, as she looked at others reflections. Looking down she saw her schedule where she put it every year just so she knew where she was supposed to go; it was different. Drastically so, she had a few normal classes like math and science. But then she had “religious studies” third period today and “sexual orientation and you: learning to love” first thing after her P.E. class which was now “Obstacle training III” and then she ended the day with “Home Economics: Advance cooking & cleaning”.
She was in shock, what were some of these classes! The locations were different so she wrote them down before leaving in the direction of math.
On her way she heard some yelling followed by “ Yes, mistress, Sorry for my mistake” in a timid but familiar voice.
As she rounded a corner to see what the commotion was about she saw…
