Sue's head was widening, taking on the appearance of a canine. "What's happening to me?" wondered Sue, knowing that she couldn't do anything about it.
"Your head seems to be turning into a dog's," said Tom. "Are you okay?"
"I'm hot, butr it doesn't huurh-" Sue's jaw and tongue elongated, shifting so that she couldn't speak clearly.
"You okay, Sue?" said Hannah.
"Yeah. I tho theel ho ow."
They were quiet for a while, trying not to make Sue feel uncomfortable.
