Jane turned her annoying alarming clock off and groggily opened her eyes.
She did not like getting up early, in fact she wanted to sleep again.
After opening the window blinders of her room, she was greeted with sunshine, at least it will be a sunny day!
The 8 year-old did like going to school, thanks to her fiends and cool teachers.
She stood up, combed her black hip-length hair, while humming, and put on her clothing.
While she did that, a strange feeling, like an irritation, began to appear on her body ,but she looked at the affected area and saw nothing, so she paid it no mind and walked to the kitchen .
“Good morning, mom!”
“Ah, good morning, Jane!”, she was preparing lunch of the little girl, “How are you today?”
“As always in the morning. Tired.” she said, the last bit rough.
But her mom took it in stride and they chatted about this and that, while she ate her breakfast. The feeling lingering all the while, which worried her.
“After school today, I’m gonna check this up.” she thought.
After she said “Goodbye!” to her mom she went on her way.
On the way, she saw Kyouko, who was reading a fantasy book, if the cover was any indication, waiting at the bus stop.
After Jane walked up to her, she looked up and put the book into her bag.
“Hi, Jane!”
“Hey, Kyouko, what are you reading?” I asked.
“Just the latest installment of my favorite series!” ah, I know that one.
After a while, almost at the time the bus was supposed to arrive, Tyler came running to us.
“Morning.” he said in between breaths.
“Did something happen?” asked Kyouko.
“Not really. I just slept in a bit.” he answered.
Then, before they could continue, the bus arrived and the school children got in and the feeling ignored.
Jane was not ready for what was about to happen today.
