Darren nodded, he thought he understood what Yuriko was saying. Take your time as the saying goes Rome wasn't built in a day.
"I think we've had enough history lessons for today," Yuriko said with a smile. "Now, how about some fun."
"What do you mean by fun?"
"Darren," Yuriko said. "So far the changes you have made have been permanent. That does not always have to be the case. You can use the Rings to alter yourself or others on a temporary basis."
"Wait my changes dont have to be permanent," he exclaimed.
"No of course not," Yuriko chuckled. "Often times the magic you use can be used to simply have fun. For example, my mother and her friends would often reduce themselves to children just for fun."
"Seriously," Darren gasped. "Why?"
"You'd be amazed how many adults miss their youth," she chuckled. "So for today's lesson Darren I want you to make me a child."
Darren's jaw dropped as he gaped at the elderly wizard. He had never used his magic to temporarily change someone. Now his mentor was asking him to do just that. "I dont know Yuriko," he stammered. "What if I mess up? What if its permanent?"
"It wont be Darren," Yuriko assured. "One, I have complete faith in you and two I will be able to reverse any changes if need be. Remember I was born with magic so even if you were to accidentally reduce me to infancy I could reverse it."
Darren shuddered, he really didnt want to put Yuriko back in diapers. "So how old do you want to be?"
Yuriko rubbed her chin thoughtfully before a small smirk spread across her face. "How about your age."
Darren gulped, looking down at the Ring of Age as he now began to focus. Turning to Yuriko the young teen gasped as Yuriko began to change.
Yurikos grey hair began to darken, black strands slowly but surely replacing the grey. As that happened Darren could see the wrinkles smoothing on her face. Yuriko looked herself over, an approving smile on her face. "I look about 60," she said. "Keep going."
Darren nodded, watching as Yuriko continued to youthen. The elderly wizard now seemed to grow taller, her body straightening. As she now crept towards middle age, Darren watched as Yurikos body began to take shape. The womans curves returned as her modest breasts pushed out her blouse. Yuriko giggled, running her smoother hands over her returned curves. "Keep going Darren you havent seen anything yet."
Darren did as he was told, watching as the formerly 80byear old woman became 30. Yuriko was all smiles, gazing at herself. Darren had to admit Yuriko was an attractive woman. Flawless skin, curves and luxurious black hair that cascaded just past her shoulders. As Yuriko edged backwards through her 20s Darren could see her face glowing with youth as her dark eyes shone brightly.
As Yuriko crossed the threshold into her teens, Darren began to notice Yuriko's changes more closely. As she became a teen, he watched as the womans body began to slim, her breats becoming firmer but no longer as full. Yurikos curves began to melt away giving her a narrow waist, the now teenage wizard quickly grasping her slacks that threatened to cascade down her legs.
Yuriko now only looked 16, her face rounding, her breasts shrinking and her body becoming waifish. As she became 15 and then 14, Darren watched as she seemed to shrink a couple of inches. As Yuriko settled on 13 the magic stopped. Darren now beheld a very pretty teen with a narrow figure, small B cup breasts, and a round face with large dark eyes. "Yuriko are you still you?"
"Still me," Yuriko responded, chuckling at the youthful tenor of her voice. "You did great Darren."
