'You know, I'm reconsidering that whole Female thing. I mean, having one gender makes things a lot easier, plus after that whole Lilith mess Females aren't looking all that attractive an idea.' God thought, but at the same time he knew he wanted to give Adam a mate, someone to love and be with. That's when he got an idea 'I'll just make another male for Adam.' God decided as he gathered the same materials as he had to make Adam.
Setting to work on creating another human, this time was far easier having done so once already with Adam 'No major deviations in body, a slightly different face, some different colored hair, and there.' God had finished his latest creation, a mate for Adam "I name thee, Steve." God proclaimed as he breathed life into his new human. Fluttering his eyes, Steve awoke confused "Do not worry my child." he heard, tracing the voice to his creator.
"Um, uh, um..." Steve was new to the concept of speaking, thankfully he shall have his husband and the angels to teach him "The time for words can come latter first, I shall show you to your husband." God said as he lead him to the sleeping Adam "Adam my child it is time to awaken." God stated, and slowly his son awoke. Steve was instantly smitten, staring in awe as the first man awoke, his hair like gold, his skin smooth and subtle, fine toned muscle lying just underneath "Father?" he spoke, his voice like honey "Hmm, who is this?" Adam asked as he laid eyes upon Steve.
Much as Steve was instantly in love with Adam, so to was he with Steve, staring at awe at gods second son. His hair was black as night, his skin the slightest tan, muscles not quiet as defined as Adams, but by no means was he weak. "He is your husband Adam, I have named him Steve." God proclaimed "Steve." Adam's face grew red with blush as he stated his husbands name. Standing up Adam intended to make his way to Steve, but was soon blocked by the falling form of the a lion god had transformed "Uh... Father... What is that?" he asked.
"Ah yes, will you see, as I was contemplating what to do with all of my creations, I had a revelation. I realized that, in truth, all of my creations are equal under me, wolves are no more superior to rabbits, nor are humans such as you to any of the animals. Thus I decided to give all of my creations the same form and mind as you." God explained "Same form AND mind?" Adam asked "Yes, and soul too, though that should go without saying." "Do will they still eat each other." God thought a moment, and realized he hadn't fully thought out the consequences of his actions, after all if carnivores still need to eat meat and all their prey is just as sentient...
Adam had known his father long enough to tell from Gods face, he hadn't fully thought this through "Well father, what are they going to eat?" He asked. God thought on this a moment before stating "Well son, that's a problem that can wait, so long as their in the garden they will not need to eat, and seeing as there isn't anywhere they can go besides the garden yet..." "Father please don't procrastinate." Adam interrupted "I'm not, I promise I'll come up with a solution before doing anything else, but for right now..." God slabbed Steve into Adam's arms "there's another matter to attend to." looking at his two sons embrace, the splendor of their naked forms on full display, God felt pride and joy. Adam and Steve looked deeply into each others eye's, soon a smile graced both their faces "Thank you father." Adam stated.
