'Chris. I thought I could give it to Nancy. See how she is' The real Nancy could hardly say who she really was when she was in Chris's body.
'She's not here. You just missed her. Mom is taking her down to the medical centre to get her ankle looked at'
'Oh.. When do you think they will be back?'
'I don't know. Probably depends whether they have to wait around for X-rays or anything'
'Er. Okay. Could you ask her to ring me when she get's back?'
'Keen on her are you?'
Nancy was a bit taken aback by Alison's question. It was rather direct.
'Um... Yeah... I suppose I am'
'She's keen on you as well. Have you asked her out yet?'
'As a matter of fact I have. We have a date tonight'
'I suspect you might have to take a rain-check. Her ankle looked pretty bad'
'Err. That's not good. She has a basketball game on Sunday' Nancy didn't want to have to forfeit
'Well I can almost guarantee she won't be playing. She couldn't walk this morning. I had to help her to the car'
'Oh... Er... Remember to tell her to give me a ring when she gets back'

Nancy rang Tanya with Chris's phone as she began to walk back to the Morrison house. She relayed the situation to Tanya.
'Shit!. All this will be for nothing! And I've just used the medallion on this body to make tall Mary'
'What happens if the ankle is broken? Will Chris's ankle be broken when he changes back? Or do I end up with a broken ankle?'
'Well neither I think. Chris would just be as he was when he last wore the clothes she touches the medallion to. The same would apply to you. You would need to get an article of your clothing last worn before the ankle break'
"Well I should get something while I am here then'
'I guess. However I think the bigger problem we have is getting to Chris before she is examined. If she is diagnosed with a broken ankle our basketball season is shot. We can use the medallion on her to cure the ankle but only if we get to her before anything is officially diagnosed. We need to hurry. Get an article of your clothing and get to the medical centre. I'll meet you there. I'll bring the medallion'
Nancy turned around and went back to her own house quickly trying to think of a reason why Chris would want an article of Nancy's clothes.
Alison answered the door once more.
'Hi. Didn't expect to see you back so soon'
'Um. Yeah sorry. It's just I was talking to Tanya. She asked if I could bring back a spare pair of Nancy's running shoes. A friend has turned up who is going to fill in for the basketball team but she doesn't have any basketball shoes that would fit her. Her feet must be the same size as Nancy's'
'Nancy has huge feet'
'Evidently so does Mary' Nancy had no idea what shoe size Mary had and was just saying what came into her head 'Tanya says the pink Nike's which are evidently in Nancy's right hand wardrobe'
Alison had a puzzled look on her face. 'I guess. Couldn't this friend just buy herself some shoes of her own?'
'I'm just the messenger. That's what Tanya asked for'
'Oh well. Tanya is Nancy's best friend. Wait here. I'll see if I can find them'
