With a soft snicker, Amber changed “pull-up” to “diaper”. Immediately, the girl’s pants disappeared, revealing a thick, fluffy, white diaper. Simultaneously, Amber felt her own pull-ups thicken into a full diaper, and her pants disappear. To her surprise, the little boy was no longer wearing any clothes at all. Just a thick diaper.
Dr. Long entered the waiting room and called one of the patients back. As Dr. Long and the patient went back for the exam, Amber caught a glimpse of training pants sticking out of both women’s pants. She covered her mouth to hide her laughter. Just by changing one word, she’d made a world where no one ever got fully potty-trained. New memories to match the new reality began to fill her mind.
Bowel control wasn’t achieved until adulthood, and even then, bladders weren’t fully controlled, and diapers were still worn at night just in case. One of the required classes in high school was for bowel control, and at eighteen, people were allowed to finally move up to training pants.
Everyone who wore diapers couldn’t wear bottoms over them, to make it easier to tell when changes were needed, even if they were adults that just opted to continue diaper use past eighteen. As a result, children tended to not wear clothes at all until puberty.
Amber wanted to continue messing with reality, but unfortunately, got caught up in doing work. By the time things had died down a bit, Dr. Long had returned to the waiting room. Amber targeted the app on Dr. Long and generated a new sentence.
“Dr. Long is going to change her wet pull-up.”
