We're just out of the play area before Amanda lets out a startled eek. I look at her and am shocked to see that she's clearly just wet herself. I also see a couple people turn in our direction. I quickly drag Amanda back into the play area and duck into a small structure.
"Amanda! Did you really just have an accident."
Looking suitably mortified Amanda mumbles, "I didn't realize how much harder it would be to hold it like this. Let's just change back now."
Relieved to be done with this experiment I agree. I make sure no one is still looking our way and then make my make our way back to our stuff. Only to discover it has clearly been shifted through. The contents of our purses are scattered on the ground with our valuables missing. The shopping bags are also missing. Thankfully the spray is still there.
Scooping up the bottle I rush back to Amanda and explain what happened.
"Let's just go to a store and grab something new," Amanda insists.
"We can't go anywhere while your in those soaked clothes."
"Well maybe you could sneak a change of clothes out of one of the parents' bags and then we could go."
"Ok fine. Just hold on I'll be right back."
I slip out again and look for any promising targets. Unfortunately it looks like most people know better than to leave there stuff unattended around here. I do find a stroller that's been left ungaurded, but all the clothes in the bag underneath are for a toddler boy or a baby girl. Oh well Amanda got us into this mess she can deal with this.
I grab one outfit of each type and hurry back. Amanda scowls as she sees what I'm holding, "You can't be serious."
"Listen it's the best I could find either use the bottle to make something fit or you'll just have to wait here for me to come back."
Amanda shivers and then...
