6 a.m.
Mikayla woke up and frowned. She didn’t want to be back in her own room. She longed to wake up next to the love of her life, Jeff. To feel his warm touch. She quickly went back to sleep.
6:15 a.m.
Mikayla finally woke up again. She was still getting used to having a female body, and felt a slight tingle as she rubbed her nipples. She stepped out of her bedroom with only a towel on. She saw Jeff walk into his room and walked into the bathroom.
6:20 a.m.
Mikayla stepped into the shower and let the hot water cover her. As she grabbed the soap and started to use it, she couldn’t stop thinking about Jeff. She wanted him to be happy, and she wanted to be happy with him. She couldn’t go back to being a man after this experience. She finally decided that after school she was going to tell Jeff that she loved him and she wanted to stay a woman permanently. Her attempt yesterday seemingly failed, but this it was gonna work. She was sure of it.
6:30 a.m.
Mikayla finally got dressed and walked downstairs. She saw Jeff in the kitchen cooking breakfast for the both of them. “Oh, hey dad,” he said before going back to cooking. It felt like knives were being plunged into Mikayla’s heart as she heard the word “Dad”. “Since it’s Friday, it’s your last day of school. Maybe on the weekend, we can do some father-son bonding.” “Yeah, sure,” Mikayla said. She grabbed a plate and went to the nearby table. Jeff tried to break the silence but Mikayla just sat silently.
6:45 a.m.
Jeff grabbed his bag and Mikayla grabbed her purse. She then grabbed her keys and Jeff opened the door. They then left for another day of school. The drive was silent, with Jeff’s hand on Mikayla’s thigh as she drove. Jeff’s mind was still conflicted. He loved his father, but he also loved Mikayla. But they couldn’t co-exist. Could they? Jeff thought to himself. He definitely needed to check the Chronivac when they got home.
7 a.m.
Jeff and Mikayla arrived in the parking lot of the school. She turned the car off and then looked at Jeff. He looked away from her as he got out of the car. Mikayla followed suit and they both entered the building.
They then met with Jeff’s group of friends. They talked for a while until the bell rang. They all went their separate ways as Jeff walked Mikayla to their first class.
The classes were like normal, boring and uneventful. The only eventful was when they had a test in their math class. Jeff had some trouble with it while Mikayla blew past it, diligently working on the double sided sheet. She was even the first one to finish the test.
2:30 p.m.
The final bell had rung. Jeff and Mikayla sat in the car. “That was a fun day, babe” Mikayla said. Jeff seemingly ignored her as they drove away from the school.
2:45 p.m.
Jeff and Mikayla finally arrived at their house. Jeff parked the car and they sat silent for a minute. Before Jeff could leave, Mikayla stopped him. “I need to be honest with you” she said, softly holding his arm. “Okay,” Jeff said, slightly confused. “I don’t want to go back,” she sternly stated. “What do you mean?” Jeff asked in slight shock. “I don’t want to go back to being a man, especially after what we did together. I don’t want to go back to my old body. I was old then. My joints hurt, my back hurt, and I didn’t have anything except my job. I didn’t even have time for you! Now? I’m young, and beautiful. Nothing hurts, and I have more time with you then ever. I can get a new job. I have pleasure like I’ve never dreamed. I thought I wanted to be a man again, wanted to live that life again, but after a week of this… I can’t imagine going back, Jeff. I’m happy, really happy for the first time in years. And thanks to the Chronivac, I feel like I fit in this body, like it's really mine, deeply and truly.” She paused. “I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Jeff sat back in silence. “I don’t know what to think,” he said. “Please. I know you want your dad back. Maybe we can do something with that Chronivac that made me this in the first place. But would you be okay with me being a woman permanently?” Mikayla asked, leaning closer to Jeff.
Jeff had to do what he knew was right. He...
