(switching to 3rd person, I think I have at least a couple chapters in mind and I am not as comfortable in 1st person)
The new leopard doll bounced back into the office. She was eager, giddy to know who she would serve.
The pink feline pulled up an application and profile on the wall screen.
Dolls were very new and their nature (and former humanity) was not public knowledge. They were however in very high demand as they were quickly earning a reputation as extremely capable and tireless assistants. Not to mention the sexual rumors, despite the fact that dolls as a rule lacked any genitalia. Dolls were however extremely rare, just seeing one in public was a notable event.
The silver leopard's plastic eyes widened in surprise as she saw the applicant. 'Tatiana Karanova.' This was the estranged twin sister of the human from which she had been created.
Anya and Tatiana Karanova had always been like oil and water. Their parents were forever frustrated by this as it was obvious to everyone that the sisters clashed because they were so alike.
Anya's general failure at life was directly attributable to rebelling against the similarities with her sister. Trying to do the opposite of Tatiana meant Anya was always trying to do the opposite of everything she herself was good at. The leopard doll reflected on this calmly, her new existence made this self reflection easy and painless.
Tatiana lived near by, in an old farmhouse on several acres of land. This would be fairly nice in any setting, but was made far more spectacular by the location. The house was right in the middle of downtown, occupying it's own city block. A wall had been built around the homestead as the city grew up around it. Tatiana could afford this as she was a highly prolific and successful author of romance novels. This also meant she could afford the major expense of a doll.
Tatiana's actual application was pretty straight forward. She needed a completely discreet assistant and companion, one she could use as a sounding board for ideas at any hour of the day or night. Not to mention cooking, cleaning, and 'satisfying other personal needs'.
The doll wasn't bothered by the thought of sexually satisfying the sister of her former human self. Even though the doll lacked sexual organs and wasn't capable of experiencing that kind of pleasure; she knew she could still take care of the needs of others with hands, mouth, tail, or toys. This would be serving her mistress and directly satisfying her needs. It wouldn't be some stranger. She would have refused if her master or mistress tried to whore her out.
Tatiana's application was accompanied by the results of an extremely thorough personality test and analysis of her writings and social media. The leopard doll's side of the compatibility score was a precise mapping of her mind and thoughts, compiled by her own cybernetic brain. On a 1000 point scale, the match was 947, one of the highest recorded.
The dolls spoke for a bit, as much to be sure the new leopard had all of the needed knowledge and instincts from dollification as anything. Nothing further was said, it wasn't needed. Dolls needed to serve, Tatiana was the best available match.
The dolls didn't talk long, the pink cat knew her synthetic sister would be eager to report to her new mistress.
The leopard exited the building, a mere hour had elapsed since a strung out and desperate woman named Anya had walked in.
Her skin shone in the bright sunlight, the shifting reflection drawing attention to her endless energy. Even when paused waiting to cross the street, her tail swayed and she moved slightly in place, almost as if moved by music only she could hear.
