"How about we go swimming at the pool?" suggested Dustin's left head?
"Sure, why not?" replied one of Jaden's heads. "Come by in an hour and we'll head over there."
"Okay, see ya soon!" said Dustin's right head. They hung up and put their phone away, and went upstairs to change. As they began heading down the hall, they looked into Ty's room. As their parents had said, he did indeed have sixteen heads. The Tys were one wide body with sixteen heads, seventeen legs, and just two arms.
"Hey, guys," said six of the Tys. They were still aware of what would happen if they said Dustin's name, and they wanted to be in control of what happened to their "head count".
"Hey, Tys" greeted Dustin's left head. "Do you guys wanna come swimming with us and with Jaden?"
"Does Jaden have more than one head now?" asked one of the Tys.
"Yeah, we called him," replied Dustin's right head. "He said my name, so he must have at least two now. That is, unless he said my name again since the call."
"I forgot to mention that," said another of the Tys. "The charm only applies if the person says your name if they are referring to YOU, and if they are saying it specifically to YOU."
"Oh, good," said Dustin's left head. "Should we get ready to go?"
"Sure," replied the Tys. "Although, maybe I should have only a few passengers going with me."
With that, the Tys shut their bedroom door to change, while the Dustins went into their bedroom to do the same. They took off their clothes and slipped into a pair of blue swim trunks. They went back down the hall and knocked on Ty's door. The door opened, revealing Ty with four heads, and wearing one extremely wide pair of green swim trunks—complete with five legs. The two groups moved towards the stairs, and walked down to the front door. One of Mark's heads said goodbye to Ty and Dustin—and the Marks gained another head when he said Dustin's name.
Once outside, the Tys and the Dustins moved down the street towards Jaden's house. When they reached the door, they were greeted by his older brother Ryan. Ryan had blonde hair done in a bun, and was wearing a pair of orange swim trunks. Apparently, he was going with them to the pool.
"Hey, Ty," said Ryan. "Hey, Dustin." Ryan's head fluidly split into two heads.
"Hey, Ryans," said Dustin's left head. "Are you coming with us?"
"Of course I am," said Ryan. "Jaden thought I'd enjoy it."
"Is Jaden ready?" asked Dustin's right head.
"Right here, Dustin!" called a voice from inside. Jaden appeared wearing a pair of red swim trunks, now with three heads.
"Come on, guys," said the Ryans. "Move it, Dustin!" Ryan gained a third head as soon as he said Dustin's name.
The four groups of guys headed off towards the pool. Dustin was excited when he saw a number of people there, including quite a few of his own friends. He imagined what would happen if they said his name as well, and how many times they might say it during the time they were all there together. The group entered the grounds and moved to a corner with lounge chairs and a big tree. The Ryans told everyone to choose a place to lay out their towels, and gained a fourth head when Dustin asked where he wanted to lounge.
The Jadens then moved towards where some of their friends were, and the Tys laid down on their chair, while the Ryans prepared to move over to where some older girls were, no doubt to engage in flirting and/or multiple cases of "mouth-to-mouth". Dustin saw an opportunity to add to Ryan's chances, and acted on it.
"Do you your chances are good with them, Ryan?" he asked. "I don't blame you for being interested."
"Oh, I'm pretty confident, Dustin," said Ryan's leftmost head; a fifth head appeared as he did so. "I mean, just look at me."
Both of Dustin's head certainly got a good look. Ryan now had five identical heads, each with blonde hair in a bun. They were all smiling, their two arms crossed, their six legs stiff and straight as they could be. In Dustin's opinion, as well as Ty's, Ryan had never looked better.
