Niko looked around, at one of his two best friends, Emily. He knew what was the first priority.
‘I wish Emily returns back to her normal shape.’ He wrote in the book. Like him, she shrank back almost immediately, which made it a lot easier to focus. She looked at Niko, then at the inflated individuals. She looked up at Skylar’s mother.
“Well. I think we can leave the rest of them like this,” Emily said to Niko, but in a way that was intended for everyone to hear,
“No!” They all said in unison. This made Emily chuckle.
“But seriously, what do we do?” Niko asked her,
“First, I’d suggest we sort out clothes.” Emily stated,
“That’s a good idea,”
“Can I do it?” She asked,
“Umm...” Niko hesitated, “yeah. Sure, go for it.” He stood there, thinking if it was a good idea for a moment. He knew that it wasn’t, but he handed her the book.
She took the book and wrote down, ‘I wish everyone has their clothes back on.’ Which resulted in everyone becoming fully clothed immediately. This included the inflated individuals. Their clothes suddenly reappeared on their bodies. Their clothes stretching dramatically on their dramatically proportioned bodies.
Niko looked at them, thinking they might be in pain, he suggested, “maybe we should make their clothes fit... or make them not inflated. Or... even just make them not feel pain,”
“Nah,” Emily replied. He could tell she was only half listening. She was planning something in her mind.
Emily gave a devilish smirk before writing something in the book,
‘I wish Skylar’s Mom no longer floats.’
Skylar’s mother suddenly fell down. She bounced on her belly and went up again, she hit the ceiling before crashing back down on her butt. She bounced a little more before coming to a full stop.
Emily walked over to her, grabbed her by the hair and pulled her come face to face.
Emily looked her in the eyes, she saw the fear disguised by a stern and angry look as she did. Emily did nobody was expecting... except Niko.
Emily kissed her right on the lips.
Skylar’s mother let out a staggered inhale, shocked.
Everyone else, excluding Niko, gasped in shock.
Emily began to laugh, an almost maniacal laugh.
Niko couldn’t help but let out a snicker, which quickly turned into laughing.
Before anyone else could say anything, Niko had an idea. He snatched the book out of Emily’s hand and wrote, ‘I wish every member of Skylar’s family will turn into an animal.”
Skylar’s whole family, inflated before them, instantly morphed into different animals. The process was always sudden, never slow. Skylar’s father had transformed into a large rhino. Her sister into a little bunny rabbit. And finally, her mother became a cow.
Emily and Niko looked at them all as they looked around, clueless. They looked confused and concerned, all but one on four legs. They were too scared to move, too frightened that they would fall over and not be able to get up.
That’s when footsteps were heard. One after the other, down upstairs hallways. Emily and Niko looked, even Skylar’s family did.
That’s when they saw you running down the stairs. You were drenched in water, fully clothed. You were holding... a pig?
