I turned softly and looked at Ann who was not sprawled on her bed with her back facing us. “What if I wanted to try and stay with her again but this time no turning back?” I asked after a few minutes of silence.
“I’m not sure if she would even want to give you that chance again,” Joy spoke looking firecly at me.
I thought deeply about it and stared at Ann through the window, the past while coming flooding back as I realized just how lonely she was. Though we had only mated once feelings were shared and out minds seemed to have been linked briefly. “Let me go back in I want to take the chance,” I whisper softly.
“She could kill you before you even get a chance you realize that?” Joy asked but reaching for her keys again.
“It’s a chance I’ll take, something happened when we were mated I chickened out but deep down I know how she feels and how lonely she is. If she kills me then so but it, it will be my own fault for chickening out on her.” I responded softly staring through the window.
Joy stared at me with a new found sort of respect, it wasn’t often she had men admit their wrong doing. “This is your last chance to leave, I can’t take the risk of you getting killed now that you did what you did,” she finally spoke looking to Ann who appeared to have fallen asleep. “You can leave never look back, but if your ever found in the park again I can’t garuntee your safety.” She spoke reaching for the lights to dim it for the night.
I nodded softly, but could not just let go of Ann. “I’m not leaving, not without a chance to say goodbye and to at least make ammends,” I spoke placing a hand on Joys shoulder to stop her.
Joy glared at me softly, “Are you sure you want to do this?”
I waived my hand in Ann’s direction, she deserves to at least know someone other then her captors care for her. Even though it was a quick thing I am honestly starting to have feelings for her.”
Joy nodded softly seeing the dertermination in my eyes, “ok but remember I’m not garunteeing your safety.”
I nodded and walked back over to the door waitng for Joy to open it again. Ann was sitting up and looking in our general direction wondering what was going on.
After what seemed liked hours but was only minutes I was alloud back in.
“What are you doing back here,” Ann growled softly at me.
“I came back to apoligise for being an ass, I’m not sure why but I think we were connected with each other when we mated and I know how you feel and your lonlyness. I came back to apoligise.” I spoke moving slowly into the room.
“Why should you care how I feel, I’ve only been captive and along for the last 2 years men come in mate have sex a one night stand. No ones ever wanted to stay they always chicken out at the last second not wanting to go through the change or give up their life,” Ann cried out in anger scrunching her knees up and pulling them to her chest.
“Ann I’m sorry I chickened out, I can relate to you for being alone and not having anyone in your life I’ve been like that all my life.” I spoke moving closer and kneeling in front of her softly, it was then I noticed that the artificial light had been turned on again but at a lower density.
Ann looked up quietly into my eyes, her eyes shifted from ice blue to yellowish. “I could kill you right now you know that, one man did come back but he used me to be turned and then ran away. Are you prepared to die for this?”
I gulped softly, “if you really want to kill me then so be it. At least I came back and apoligised and willing to face death if need be.” I spoke as I reached out softly and attempted to whipe a tear away from her face.
Bye now I could tell she was trying to fight the growing changes as she struggled with her emotions. But something inside her snapped and she just let out everything as she started crying deepply, I moved and sat on the bed pulling her into my arms softly as she cried and her changes took over.
Ann hesitates at first but collapses into his arms as she just let everything out and her changes continuesd, her ufur grew softly and her body started to reform. “No ones ever come back except for a quick show or a fuck the last guy I killed in anger, I don’t even known if you should be in here when I take my full form.”
I craddled her softly before looking down into her eyes and watching as the fur progressed across her body. “I’m not leaving if you really must then kill me it’s the chance I’m willing to take, we may have only known each other today but I’m in love with you and its not puppy love, pardon the pun.”
Ann gigled softly, “we were connected earlier and I felt it too and to be honest your not like the rest of them,” she spoke as she shifted to allow her tail to fully grow out. She was about to speak again when her face started to stretch out she was taking the full form.
“Ann I’m not expecting you to trust me again but I don’t want to leave you here alone I want to and am prepared to spend the rest of time with you.” I responded after a few minutes of silence. A grinding noise was heard as her body reshifted and the changes finished as he moved to all fours and looked up at me.
“Stay with me tonight then if you care so much,” a voice spoke in my head and it took me a moment to realize it was Ann. I nodded softly he moved over on the bed and curled up I lay down quietly beside her and rested a arm on her fur. “I’m not going anywhere in less you tell me to leave…”
