Marcia and Rusty's eyes went wide as the stone harmlessly bounced off the banshee. That shouldn't be possible, Marcia though but the banshee was still coming right at them. The banshee lunged for Marcia, but Rusty pushed her out of the way at the last moment.
They both hit the ground hard and the contents of Rusty's bag scattered across the hall. Climbing to her feet, Marcia could already see the banshee taking its toll on Rusty. With her partner growing visibly younger by the second, Marcia had to act quickly.
She scrambled for the first item she could see that might help, a jewel encrusted dagger. Taking it in her hand, Marcia rushed at the banshee only to have the creature free one of its hands and twist Marcia's wrist back.
Despite her best efforts, the dagger slipped from her grip and clattered to the floor. Then Marcia felt the chill run through her body again. Struggling to pull herself free, Marcia distracted the spirit long enough for Rusty to reach the dagger.
He jabbed the enchanted weapon into the creature's side. The two were able to break free as the banshee screamed in pain. Not waiting for the creature to recover, the two retreated down the hall.
While they ran, Rusty found her had to ditch his clothes to move freely and Marcia nearly tripped as her shirt slid down her body. By the time, the two made it to Christine's room they were completely nude.
They threw open the door and seal it behind themselves. Panting they looked over themselves and each other.
"God we look like preschoolers!" Rusty exclaimed.
"At least we're the same age again," Marcia countered.
"Very funny. But now we've lost all our gear and we're no closer to destroying that banshee!"
"Don't lecture me I wanted to get more information first! It's not my fault Christine's room was in here!"
Realizing they've been having this argument in Christine's room, Marcia spun around looking for their client.
