Just as Danny was about to head to go workout to kill some time before the girls arrived, he heard the front door open. Perhaps it was the girls at the door, he thought. Danny went to the door only to find his older brother Jin instead.
"Jin? You're home early. Something happened?" Jin's DnD sessions usually went on for several hours, and he would get back at around midnight. So something must have happened.
"Yeah, DnD got canceled. Everyone gotten food poisoning from Mary's lobster rolls." Ah, that explained it, both Danny and Jin hated lobster, so Jin really did dodge a bullet there.
"Yikes. Well, I hope your friends feel better. Uh, you want to stick around for the party?" Danny honestly didn't think Jin would want to join them. He only invited him because he felt bad for his brother. Though for a moment, Jin looked like he was seriously considering it. Jin didn't really have anything plans tonight after DnD got canceled. However, when he saw the guests were some of Danny's fellow jocks, he grimaced.
"Nah, I'll just get some pizza and try to stay out of your hair." And just as he said, Jin just grabbed a slice of pizza and headed to the couch.
Danny noticed that grimace Jin made and then remembered how some of the students used to give Jin a hard time in high school, especially the jocks. It was strange looking back on that. Danny used to think that Jin only got that treatment because he acted so stereotypical, but now he knew that wasn't the case. He was so glad that those people were going to get what they deserved.
Actually, that got him thinking. Once Sasha turned all the white jocks into twinks, most of the sports teams won't have enough team members and might shut down. That wasn't good, especially if the football team ends up shutting down. What was the point of his vengeance if it ends up hurting himself in the end?
Well, the solution was simple enough. All Danny had to do was use the Chronovic to make replacements, but who should they be? Hmmm... you know there was a good chunk of Asian nerds at his school. Perhaps they could make great replacements for the jocks once they put on some muscle, of course. Yeah, he could see it now. The look on all his former teammates' faces when they can only helplessly watch as the Asians they made fun of replacing them on what they used to love was going to be priceless. Yeah, a new social order was coming to his school, and he's going to be the top dog.
Danny was so excited about his vision that he wanted to change a nerd right now. The problem was that he really did talk to the nerds unless he really had to, and without a name, he would have to wait until school tomorrow to do that. However, then he realized that he technically didn't have to wait as there already was a nerd sitting on the couch right now.
Despite giving his brother shit about being a nerd, Jin still was Danny's older brother, and he loved him, even if he didn't like to admit it. He also knew that Jin felt the same way; after all, Jin did look out for him and tutored him despite the two butting heads quite often. In Danny's mind making Jin less of a nerd was just a secret gift to his brother and maybe a way to get closer to him as well.
Also, to use as a template for the changes he was about to make to the school. Danny swore that was just a tertiary reason on why he was doing it.
Going to the Chronovic, Danny pulled up his brother's page and contemplated. He wasn't exactly sure what numbers to put into Jin's new stats at first, but then he decided that since Jin was in college, he wasn't going to be replacing a specific jock at Danny's high school, so Danny just entered numbers close to his own stats. Danny then made a mental note to copy the other jock's stats before Sasha can get to them so he can use them later. As for mental changes, Danny decided against it. He wanted to see his brother's reaction to growing first hand and maybe let him in on his plans later... and he could always make some tweaks later.
The final thing to decide on was the duration, and Danny decided to make it a week, just like Sasha's victims. Jin transformation was a templet after all.
After everything was finalized, Danny hit confirmed and smiled. Things in his life will be changing quickly, but they're going to be for the better.
