Yuriko now gazed around Circes throne room, a small smile spreading across his face. "I see you never decided to redecorate after your mother went behind the veil."
"Mom had her flair," Jack chuckled. "I figured if I'm going to be the standard bearer of darkness, might as well look the part."
Yuriko nodded, taking a seat at a dark table adorned with skulls. "Does Kellie know about what's been happening?"
Jack sighed, his face stretching into a grom expression. "We've talked," he said softly. "Considering what the Normal tried to do to Ann and our granddaughter Morgan, she's concerned."
"You faced them here," Yuriko stated. "How did you stop them?"
"It was your godparents that faced them," Jack corrected. "This was their timeline. They, along with their friends were able to stop them."
"But you couldn't get involved."
Jack narrowed his eyes as he now glared at Yuriko. "You know the rules Yuki," he grumbled. "The bearers of light and darkness are observers of the timelines, not participants. Those rules apply to you as well, considering your standing as the keeper of the shop."
"I am well aware of my responsibilities," Yuriko replied. "However, rules can be bent. If I recall correctly you have both done so on numerous occasions."
"Extenuating circumstances," Jack grinned. "I should have crushed these vermin years ago."
Jack now sighed, a flick of his wrist now summoning forth a parchment. "I've put together a list of possible bases of operations for these roaches," Jack stated. "But tread carefully Yuriko, your Catalyst may have inadvertently provided his enemies with an advantage."
"How so?"
"The soul drive droids," Jack said. "The Normal may try to take them, use them to destroy the Catalyst. Beings as unique as them could be used to destroy your Catalyst before his work even starts."
"I see," Yuriko stated quietly. "Thank you Jack, this their anything else."
Jack now beckoned Yuriko forward, his voice low as he now spoke. "Kellie and I can provide some assistance," he whispered. "Bob for example or if you or Akiras family are threatened. The kitsune too would be willing to help. I would suggest talking with Kellie asap. She would very much like to meet your Catalyst and his friends."
