He didn't really mean to pick the male toilet sign symbol looking rune, he simply thought that if he touched it some better explanation would be given as to what exactly the rune represented, maybe the voice would give him the option to back out and choose another one if he didn't like it. Alas, the moment he touched the rune the voice announced:
"You have chosen the Boon of the Physical Body! A really good choice indeed..."
The other runes faded from view as the body rune rose up a bit from where it was. Under it were three new smaller runes. "Is this... A skill tree?" Alex asked the voice.
"The Boon of the Physical Body..." the voice started explaining "Is the rune that gives you power over your own body, other people's bodies and the carnal interactions between bodies"
"Did I just pick the sex rune?" Asked Alex. Maybe it wasn't so bad, he thought, at least from what he had seen up to now, people in this world were both very sexy and sexually open...
Meljin held in a slight chuckle and proceeded with the explanation. "As you get stronger and more accomplished your boon will get even stronger. As of now, you can choose from either of these three branches." The leftmost rune started glowing, softly. It looked like the male toilet sign symbol but with an upward arrow on the top right corner. "This branch's domain is your own physical aspect, what you are in this world." The center rune started glowing, as the glow in the other rune faded. It looked like two heads looking at each other. "This branch's domain is the carnal interaction between your body and another." The last rune started glowing. It looked like a hand pointing at a group of male toilet signs. "This last branch's domain is the body of others, and how you shape them. You may specialize in a single one of those, or dabble in all three of them, as your power grows. Make your choice."
Alex pondered over the runes. The first one seemed enticing, he wondered if he would be able to turn his current body into his dream body faster than he ever would in the gym. But the sex branch seemed really interesting. And he had always liked the idea of changing other people, with or without their consent...
