Snowy was fearing for his life and using magic on the man could be risky. He didn't want to hurt Austin. Then a miracle happened. The cat Snowy befriended in the forest came to his recuse. The cat jumped threw and open window and scratched up the face of Austin while meowing loudly
"Get off me you fucking cat!"
Austin tries to throw off the cat but the cat is relentless and meows louder. To Austin it is just meowing and hissing but Snowy can understand cat. The cat told him something.
"Get out of here I got this"
Snowy with a clear mind used some magic to escape his confines and teleported back to the tribe while saying something
"Thank you Kitty"
Snowy teleported back to his room and was surprised to see the all-mother in his room with an angry look on her face.
"Hello all-mother" he said awkwardly
The all-mother hugged him
"I am glad you came back safe"
Then she pulled back and smacked him across the face
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! YOU COULD HAVE DIED, WE COULD HAVE DIED YOU IDOIT"
"I am sorry all-mother!" he said crying
"I am going to fix you"
"No please I don't wanted to be fixed"
The "fixing" process put defective sprites into a grinder which would grind both the body and soul of the sprites until all the defective sprites were ground into raw sprite material and the all mother would attempt to create a new working sprite legion. This saved the tribe from trying the much longer and costlier sexual method of reproduction.
"Please give me one more chance!"
The all-mother had a soft spot for Snowy and wanted to give him one more chance to prove himself before fixing him
"Calm down my child I shall give you one and only one more chance to prove yourself or you will be fixed"
"Thank you"
"Now for your task you will-"
