Paul was a rather careless guy. He had a low profike job for which he was actually much to smart and cherished his free time a lot. His neighbours most probably thougt of him as some kind of Hippie, for his colorful second hand attire and his long, uncombed blonde mane. He only had very little contact with them, most of the time and didn't care much. Only with Maria, his next door neighbour, he had frequent chats. She was a rock musician and he secretly thought, she was really hot. Most of the time though, he was on his own, playing video games, listening to music or reading stuff. One sunday, when he was chilling on his couch and surfig the appstore for something interesting, he found this strange app. It was supposed to alter reality. Probably some augmented reality stuff. However, it had realy good ratings and the basic app was for free, so Paul did nut hesitate. He downloaded the app, allowed it to scan the area and smirked, when the app displayed a fairly accurate image of his appartement, Marias appartrment and even the street in front of the house: Could he really trust an app, that scouted out his surroundings in such detail?
Since it was too late already, he skipped through the tutorial.
"Chose a person or object in your area." The app requested. Paul's Finger hovered over the display a little, then touched the screen next to a spot, that he thought was Maria.
"The App will create a sentence now.", the app told him. How hard can it be, thought Paul, but was baffled, when the App suddenly showed the sentence:
"Maria, Pauls neighbour is getting dressed."
and then another instruction came up:
"Change one word and select enter."
Paul thought for a moment, then changed "neighbour" to "mistress", because he thought, that Maria had this sort of intimidating aura at times. He wondered, if the app would show her in lace and leather next time he met her, or something and hit enter.
Another instruction showed up:
"Thank you and congratulations for changing reality with our app. Only you will remember the changes, that occur. For more detailed reality settings, please download the full version."
Other than that, nothing seemed different at first.
Paul shrugged and produced another sentence about Maria. It read:
"Mistress Maria already wears a pantyhose."
Paul loved her legs in Pantyhose. He thought about the possibilities he had with this sentence and finally changed...
