Casey left the office to pick Timmy up from school after another long day. She knew that Timmy would be a handful tonight and she once again would not be able to get some much needed rest and relaxation.
On the way, Casey spotted a neat trinkets store. Seeing that she never has time for herself, she decided that she still had time so why not check out the store. Upon entering she was greeted with a very helpful shop owner.
"Hello there! Thanks for coming in, we have plenty of goodies in here. I've never had a customer who hadn't left with something they didn't want."
Carla laughed to herself and mumbled, "Unless you can find a way to help me unload all the stress I have I hardly think you'll have anything for me."
The shop owner deviously smiled.
"Oh I think I know just what you want." He went and grabbed a small peppermint wrapped in some plastic casing.
Casey looked at him like he was crazy.
"Okay I think it's time for me to go."
"Wait, this mint is magic! I can imprint it with powers that can transform whomever eats it."
He grabbed another mint off the countertop and popped it in his mouth. All of a sudden, the shop owner began to levitate.
Casey looked in shock.
"You see? I imprinted this mint with the ability to levitate and here I am. This other one is for you."
Intrigued, Casey asked the shop owner. "Hmm okay so what did you imprint on the mint you're giving me?"
"Since it seems your life is quite a handful right now, this candy has the ability to give you energy when you need it. I imprinted your essence into it so whenever you feel tired, or worked up just pop the mint in your mouth and you'll feel the as good as new."
"It's just what I need, thank you."
"But be careful, if someone other than you were to consume the mint that imprint of you would overwrite their own form and they would turn into a complete duplicate of you--in mind, body, and soul."
Casey gasped at the thought of someone else turning into her.
"I'll be sure to only use it myself." She said as she paid the shop owner and left to pick up Timmy.
-----
Timmy came rushing to Casey's car eager to finally get home.
Casey's mind was racing of everything that was on her mind--work, dealing with Timmy, and wanting to find a significant other. Luckily that candy should help her out.
Casey turned to her side and realized that the magical mint was gone.
Casey immediately went into panic mode.
"Timmy where's the mint that was sitting right there?"
"You mean this one?" Timmy said with the mint in his mouth before quickly swallowing it.
"It tasted really good."
Casey looked in horror at Timmy, realizing what was about to happen.
