The band practice and everything with the mask weighed like stones on Thom's body. He didn't even bother to eat his older brother's slow pork roast because that's how tired he is. He retreated to his basement bedroom and slept.
The following morning, after a quaint breakfast of cereal and milk, he went back to the privacy of his bedroom. The house is all to himself to this day. His older brother has some medical seminar over the state border and won't return for a few days. His father is like his usual deed, gone on business trips that could take weeks. Lastly, his younger brother is downtown managing his businesses. That leaves Thom - alone to test out the masks.
Transforming into another body is like house-hunting. Houses are, more or less, the same - doors, living room, bathroom, etc. You know where these rooms should be and what they do. But what makes every house unique is the little things. The size, paint, and especially the history of each room.
Like now, Thom has Ryan's façade on - his cute face smiling back in the mirror. Seeing this naked figure fills Thom with a tugging wrongness. Ever since he knew the lad, Thom only saw him smile twice. Seeing his reflection smiling from ear to ear just made it worse.
When he wore Dominic's face - he managed to get a few of his mannerisms right. It's not that hard to have the look of an asshole. What Thom realized first about his fresh look is how stocky he is. Some parts are big, and some are small. His biceps are bigger but not in a way you could call them muscular. He guessed that playing and carrying his drum set everywhere paid its due.
Not to mention - his dick. He never thought Dominic would pack something this large.
As for Hugh, it didn't surprise him that much. Thom has seen him naked multiple times. Seeing his body through his eyes and he knew why the guy likes to flaunt his body every chance he could get. The years are kind and gave him a twink-defining physique. If could only spend more time exercising than gossiping with people, he'd be sexier than this.
Thom decided that he would spend all day checking out his new bodies. That was the plan until he received a notification on his phone telling him that the bass he ordered was lost. He could ask for a refund but it would take two-three months to process. And there's not a guarantee that it would get approved. Thom could continue borrowing Hugh's old gear but that too is at the edges of its lifespan. One wrong strum and the thing falls apart. Dominic would flip his knockers if he found out that Thom would not receive his new bass guitar.
