As Melinda arrived home with little Livvy, she saw a few more of her neighbors out with their children playing and while she thought that some of the men looked cute, she was actually surprised to think that a lot of the women were more alluring than she had originally thought when she was a child. Even though she still remembered being her former mother's daughter, she had feelings of wanting to be in a relationship with a woman her own age. Livvy immediately ran to her bedroom to change out of her large clothes and into something more her size. As Livvy did this, Melinda looked around the house to see that pictures of her and her mother were now changed so that it reflected their current living situation with Melinda raising a baby Livvy and her growing up until she was finally six years old.
Melinda went into the kitchen and began to make tacos for Livvy. Melinda thought she would find making tacos would be hard for her, but it was actually pretty simple to her, almost as if she had done it plenty of times before. She was glad her wish with the ring had worked and sat down at the table to eat her taco while Livvy delightfully ate her own taco.
"Livvy, would you like it if your mommy started dating another lady who she really liked?" Melinda asked as Livvy began to talk while still eating her tacos.
"Welph, Mummy, Ive fink that...." Livvy began to answer with her mouth full.
"Olivia Cruz, do not talk to me with your mouth full." Melinda said in a stern voice that still sounded sincere.
"I'm sorry, mommy, I was trying to say I think I would like any lady who makes my mommy happy." Livvy said giving a loving smile as she finished her meal.
Melinda looked at the clock to see that it was Livvy's bed time as she yawned after eating her dinner.
"Time for bed Livvy." Melinda said as she kissed Livvy on the forehead as Livvy went to get dressed for bed.
Melinda came in to tuck Livvy in her bed and kissed her goodnight. For the first time in a long time, Melinda felt happy with her life, even if it was relatively new to her. She now thought about how she would go about finding a girlfriend/wife. Melinda didn't want to take another woman away from their family, and she didn't want to age someone's daughter away from them. There were several women on their street whom she could see potentially having a relationship with.
