To say that the quarantine has left many Animalians with a pent-up need for vacation would be a major understatement. As with everyone else, plans for last year had been disrupted by the enforced need for isolation. Even travel between the colonies was harder because of the efforts necessary to stem the spread of the coronavirus. Many Animalians had to delay or cancel their vacations.
For instance, the two gay couples of Herman and Jason and Moxie and Arlene weren't able to go to Mieni Atoll like they had been planning for. They had such a lovely time there on their honeymoons, they wanted to go back. But because of the pandemic, they had to cancel their trip. Even though next year promised to be much better, the sea Animalians still felt very restless. Though when the holidays came around, they came up with a rather interesting idea. Since coronavirus cases were starting to drop since a vaccine was going out, they could go on vacation. Not to Mieni Atoll, but to Heiya Island. The temperate island ought to be beautiful with the snowfall. And they wouldn't be going just for themselves. The island still had a lot of those girls who had been kidnapped by that smuggling ring. The two couples figured the people on Heiya could use some extra help. What they didn't expect was how many girls there still were to help.

Jason shivered as he stepped outside of Heiya Island's airport. "Wow, it is freezing here!" he yelped.
Herman chuckled and said, "Wish you had a layer of blubber now?"
"Oh suck it up," said Moxie, "You don't hear me complaining about the cold."
"Really? Because I can see your tail shivering," said Arlene teasingly.
"I'm just excited to be here," said Moxie, "Especially after being landlocked for so long."
"Yeah, that's true," said Jason, "Hope we can go swimming in the ocean."
"I wouldn't rush into that," said Herman, "The sea here is a lot colder than Mieni. You might want to get a wetsuit or something so you won't freeze."
"This is the Sea of Japan, not the Arctic Sea," said Jason. Herman just pointed up at the snowy sky. "Ok, fine," huffed Jason.
As the four of them walked down the street, they soon noticed there were a lot more human ladies than they expected. "Just how many girls were kidnapped by that smuggling ring?" asked Herman.
"I'm not sure," said Arlene, "I hadn't paid much attention to that before now."
"Oh, look, they're coming over," remarked Moxie. Indeed, some of the girls had noticed the new arrivals and were approaching them.
"Bet they haven't seen impressive specimens like us before," said Jason boastfully. Pretty soon, the girls were poking and rubbing his arms. "Yep, those are muscles," he said, "Be careful with the rough skin." Then he felt some hands go under his shirt to feel his abs. "Ok, that's a little too much," he said uncomfortably.
"Aw, is the big scary shark scared of girls?" asked Herman teasingly before looking back, "Hey, that's my tail, don't pull on that." Not long after, a pair of girls were grabbing onto his arms. "Hey, I'm not a jungle gym," protested Herman.
Moxie and Arlene watched with some amusement as the girls basically clambered over their male counterparts. It sorta reminded them of what happened when sharks came across easy prey, ironically enough. "They sure are friendly," commented Moxie.
"Maybe they've forgotten about 'personal space'," said Arlene. Just then, they noticed a few girls had gone to them. Not nearly as many as were with the guys, but enough. They were also feeling at their muscles.
"Weren't all the girls meant to be...sold to men?" asked Moxie.
"Well, sexual attraction has a wide attraction. Honey, don't touch there," said Arlene, the last part directed to one girl who touching the undersides of Arlene's breasts.
Just then, a voice shouted something in Chinese and the girls next to Moxie and Arlene back off. The two looked up to see a female mouse Animalian. But she was very different from other mouse Animalians they've seen. Not just for having pink fur and hair, but having a tall, amazonian body. She was practically as tall as Arlene. "Sorry, these girls can get a little handsy," she said in English, "My name's Rose. Welcome to Heiya Island."
"I think we heard about you," said Moxie.
"Yeah, I'm an 'anomaly'," said Rose offhandedly, "The scientists are still trying to figure out how I ended up like this. Not that I'm complaining."
"Not much to complain about," said Arlene.
"So, should we help your boyfriends now?" asked Rose.
Moxie and Arlene turned to see that Jason and Herman were practically buried in girls. Not that they couldn't fight back, but it would be a little too easy to hurt the girls. And even if they were a bit more bi than gay, it was still an uncomfortable position for them.
"They're not actually our boyfriends," said Moxie.
"It's...kind of complicated," said Arlene.
"But still..." said Rose.
"A little longer..." said Arlene.
