You can't help but notice how the Lieutenant emphasized the word ‘her’ to speak of Sophie's successor.
Once Sophie sat down in one of the chairs, O'Conner switch off the light and start the video. The first recording showed a heavily bruised boy claiming that he was ‘born in the wrong body’, was ‘a girl on the inside’ and swearing that he would find a way to give himself his ‘rightful sex’ or die trying. Then the former man looked outside of her vat and saw an entire squadron from the Venus army pointing their TF rifle at her.
"At first we believed her to be a spy training for an infiltration mission, which our inability in implementing one of our fake female personality suggested to be true. But then our test revealed she was also immune to masculinizating ray guns, both mentally and physically. Curious, our scientists decided to alter one of our mental conditioning helmet to instead copy memories, which is how we got those videos, among other things. You try to express how much you think this is bullshit that someone born a man could want to be a woman, how you know its just a ploy to convince you that you're just an artificial personality implanted into one of their scientist. Alas for you, ‘Dr. Marshall’ doesn't let you and make your mouth say something else instead.
