Dr. Phil sat seated at his dining room picture window. He from there had an excellent view of Jonus' house and the lot seperating the two homes. He had the Tome of Possibilities laid out open next to him of the table as he looked out the window.
Pondering the thing he had caused to happen of Jonus he wondered if he'd be sent to prison or worse. He sat up quickly when from out the back door of the neighboring home came this larger than life male Hereford steer.
It was when the steer stood facing Jonus' Mom and mooing his heart out the Doc knew that it was Jonus!
Looking to the Tome he flipped the pages slowly looking at one page's writings and then the next. In his mind he was wishing the book had not even dropped into his life but with seeing out his window the steer beginning to graze he thought trouble was only minutes away.
Then the writings caught both his eye and imagination!
The page offered to him a spell of rewriting history. It had left opened in the writings places to spell out names and places making what was now into what might have been.
Feeling ever so horrified at his own situation he began to read the spell using the name of Jonus, his parents, and the address of their home.
He was well along in the reading of the spell when he came across the part as to the changed disposition of those alive. He thought for a moment and then considered that what Jonus was now would be quite correct that his parents be as Hereford's too! So with a sadistic grin he spoke their changed heritage and watched then out his window.
The home and garage next door faded and vanished leaving as what was before an large grassy open lot. Jonus now a steer was with his mother she being like her son in form making her a Hereford cow. She began to bellow her thoughts being that the Doc had not spoken the reality of changing the exhuman's memories as well.
Jonus' Mom knew what she suddenly was and saw her house and home with human life vanish before her. The realization of becoming then a grown and large mature Hereford cow had in her mind and memories only one person, Doctor Phil!
