"Irresponsible idiot" Muttered Sarah's dad Frank as he drove the station wagon up the dusty dirt road. "She KNOWs she needs her insulin, I thought that last trip to the ER would have taught her something. Shes an adult now, she shouldn't need her dad watching over her back and making sure she brings here god damn medicine!"
"Daddy, what's a 'god damn?" came a boys voice from the back.
Behind frank sat Tommy, Sarah's adoptive little brother from her dad's second marriage who he had agreed to take care of for the day while her mom was in town shopping.
"Its...its a bad word tommy, never ever repeat that in front of your mother" He replied, a jolt of nervous energy crossing through him as he contemplated the fall out he'd receive if his trophy wife Becky heard her pride and joy use such language. "That's an adult word honey, when you're older you'll get to use it but right now it'll be just....something to look forward to when you're a man!"
"That better fucking work" he muttered in a voice he thought would be inaudible.
"Okay daddy!" Tommy replied, excited by the prospect of a whole set of words he'd get to use as an adult "... But daddy, Whats a... fucking?"
Frank slapped his head. This was shaping up to be a long day.

Around a half hour later, Google Maps had him turn down 'CritterCreek Drive.' As he made his way down the dusty road, he began to notice something....off about his surroundings. Progressively the sun, sky and clouds seemed to get more....Intense. Their normally muted naturalistic tones seemed to have been painted over, their peppy new color lending them an almost cartoonish look. The trees also seemed to change. What was once dense, dark, featureless forest began to take on an aire of wonder. The sun streamed through the trees in neat discrenable lines, fireflies dances between the branches, and idealistic leaf strew moss peppered the Forrest floor creating natural paths that invited one to adventure. Even the dust seemed affect, the once thin clouds grew more dramatic, forming lively puffs of dust that rocketed into the air as the wheels turned.
Between his worry about his sons new favorite words and anger at Sarah, Frank failed to properly notice the progressive changes to the environment. What he couldn't ignore, however, was the looming sign before him.
CAMP CRITTER CREEK
Little Critter Camp – All Summer Long!
Frank slowed the car to take in the sign and the playful critters painted all over it. "Strange....Allie said this was an adults only affair" He thought " Guess the sign doesn't apply this weekend."
Shrugging, he pressed down on the gas and pulled forward. As he cross the sign a buzzing sound seemed to fill the air and a funny feeling began to spread over his body, filling him with a misplaced sense of excitement, followed by a barrage of tingles.
"Daddy...I'm feelin' funny" He heard Tommy say from the back seat. As the intensity of the feelings grew, Frank stepped on the gas, shifting into park. Looking down a sense of horror replaced the unbidden excitement. His hands were shifting before his eyes.
They were changing into something new....
