You suppose you'll have to make your next move quickly, as the cat woman will no doubt come outside to chase you. You don't know what way to go, though, as not only do you not know anything about these woods; your sensitive eyes are picking up faint movements in the dark as well. The woods are full of wild animals that will eat such a big mouse alive, so the only way to go is...down. You feel the forest floor, and you figure it's soft enough to dig through. You start shoveling away tremendous amounts of soil with your clawed mouse hands and within no time you have dug a reasonable hole. In the distance you can pick up the faint but familiar thumping of feline paws, and you slide yourself into the hole as far as possible. You cover yourself in the previously dug-up soil, but maintain a bit of breathing space. After a few moments you can practically feel the vibrations of her paws in the ground, and you can hear her say:"Mrrh...I can smell him, but I don't see him. Perhaps the fool went deeper into the woods." After a few moments you can hear the rythm of her paws fade as she runs on. When you figure it is safe, you dig yourself back out and indeed, she is nowhere to be seen. Still, though, that doesn't get you any nearer to getting out of here. And thus, you consider your options...
