Drake looked at himself in the mirror and stared at the reflection looking back at him; this was what he had always wanted. However he realized he was still growing and and then he remembered he still had socks on so he thought he thought he'd best get down stairs to the lamp pretty quickly if he didn't want to end up immobile.
Getting down stairs was a chore and he thought to himself he'd ask the jinn to maybe take off a few pound, maybe fifty since he guessed he was getting well over 500 lbs now. It was proving difficult to walk properly but Drake managed to get to the lamp and Baldesar appeared out of the mist the lamp had made.
'What is your wish...master?'
'I want to stop growing' replied Drake in a rather panicked tone.
'Wait! Don't go!...I also wish to weigh 50lbs less than I am now'
'Done' replied the Jinn.
Immediately Drake felt some mobility return into his blocky body. Yet, he was still the most muscular guy in the world. He stood there gazing in the living room mirror looking at his reflection. First he hit a side chest, lat spread (though he was lighter this still proved difficult) and then the best ever; the most muscular pose.
'Damn I wish I could stay like this forever' Drake said, forgetting the Jinn was still in the room with him.
'It is done' said the Jinn.
Drake immediately realized his mistake but could do nothing about it. He felt a cold hard surface at his feet, and rather disturbingly the cold seemed to race up his legs. He looked down but all he could see was chest, but he looked in the mirror and saw his legs, but they were gray...just like marble. He could see the gray unmoving wave race up his body.
'Jinn I wish...'
All was silent.
'I wish I wasn't a statue' Drake said to himself, but he realized he was too late. He was now nothing more than a statue...perhaps worse, he was now a living statue. He could still think, and by some magical means still see, hear and touch, yet he was trapped forever in a the body which up unto a few moments ago had been his dreams; it seemed more like a nightmare now. He thought it ironic how he had all this strength and power pent up in his body only for it to be totally useless in this unmoving prison of stone. He thought how dumb could I be, as he looked unblinking a the cocky grin on the face he saw in the mirror.
