Amy started wandering among shop shelves. She was an attractive, redheaded 17-years old girl and she was looking for something special for today’s afternoon. Veronica, her biggest competitor in popularity, attraction and athletics was supposed to perform today a big birthday party for half of members of their high school. Since they started attending to the same class, they became rivals in every possible opportunity, but none of them never overpowered another one and didn’t accomplish majority of boys attention and their classmates attention in general.
Veronica did this birthday party in order to dominate rivalry between them. Her parent were filthy rich and this weekend they left the town and let their daughter to make her ideal party. She had a giant pool with hot tub placed on the side and there were rumours about the open Bar and DJ. One thing was sure, Veronica had no money limit to impress everybody. It all set very high stake for Amy, but there was still a little chance to fight for. The party was supposed to take place shortly before the holidays ending, so successful party would set Veronica on top for the whole school year.
It was certain, that Veronica would use the birthday party to surpass Amy and gain whole attention and respect from schoolmates and with all probability seduce one of very attractive boys she invited. Yes, this party was like a giant contest with already set winner. But not for Amy. She knew, that the party was a perfect opportunity to defeat Veronica on her own home field and focus whole attention on her. She didn’t have much time, so she kept on looking for something in magic shop which will allow her to increase her advantages and shame Veronica.
Amy stopped at potions and lotions section. She didn’t like costumes and pretending to be another person. She always wanted to achieve everything by being herself to increase the satisfaction resulting from her actions and choices. She saw various potions- shrink one, growth one, strength one but all of them looked boring and useless at the pool party. Then, she found something that gained her attention. There was a small, round package signed „Swim like fish cream”. She out of curiosity picked one and read the description and it said „Develop swimming skills, that will embarrass olympic swimmer. Swim faster than dolphin, swim deeper than scuba diver and wake up your inner fish to swim like one! It takes one usage to know that is something that you want to stick with forever”. She didn’t need to read more, she knew that is something that will give her huge advantage and blow Veronica out of her own pool.
She picked one box with lotion, paid and went home to prepare for party.
