You felt every excruciating pain that these needle thin lasers were giving you. You felt like they were cutting through your skin like a hot knife in butter. You tried to get a glance, hoping that it couldn't be true.
It was and wasn't.
As soon as the lasers cut through, they also healed them, but not how you thought. Between the lines, there lied a sort of flexible material. You couldn't feel it by your hands, but you knew that it wasn't organic. It was cold against your skin, freezing in this spaceship. You could still flex around the areas and it moved as if it was a part of you. That's when you start noticing the surroundings of where these cuts lie. Your skin started to get cold, unnaturally cold, and by the healed areas, it turned grey. And it shone. The reflections of the spaceship started to show up on your skin. It was difficult to move it like you did before, and the feeling of it moved up and around your body still.
Metal.
Your skin was becoming metal. You see that your joints were cut around, making the material more flexible for the metal to start to form. Your legs were now completely like the robots here, and it was still spreading upwards. You felt so cold. You barely felt any heat radiating off your body, only internally. You watched as this metallic substance swarmed towards your face. The needle thin lasers helped with the ongoing transformation, as the material filled the final parts of your new metallic body. You couldn't look at yourself, but what you were going to look like stared directly at you.
"EXTERNAL ELIMINATION OF ORGANIC MATERIAL COMPLETED. INTERNAL ALTERATION OF ORGANIC MATERIAL YET TO BE COMPLETE. CONTINUE PROCESS XX-25179 IN 10.50 SECONDS"
You couldn't already get the hang of now having metal skin and they were still going? You had to get out, you had to break free, but as soon as the mere idea of breaking out was thought of, the needle thin lasers started up again, and you were shot back.
