"There you are Doris."
Doris simply stared at Sandy, the now 3 year old trainer dressed in a pair of leggings with a pink tshirt and light up sneakers. Doris now slowly made her way towards the girl, still unsure of what exactly they were doing.
"What us this place," Doris asked quietly. Sandy giggled, grabbing the you g girls hand as they made their way across the room. "Well this is the Baercub room," Sandy said happily. "We use this place to help our clients build up their bodies and help establish a workout routine that will last a lifetime."
"I'm still confused" Doris muttered, slightly annoyed. Sandy now stopped, turning towards Doris as they waited in front of a toddler sized obstacle course.
"Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is incredibly difficult," Sandy stated. "Especially when your an adult. Sure we all want to look great and be healthy but as we all know starting something new is incredibly difficult. Why do you think so many people join the gym in January onky to stop going by March?"
Doris simply shrugged as the two now stood at the beginning of the course. As the two toddlers now began maneuvering their way through simple obstacles Sandy continued.
"Let's face it the older we get the more stuck in routine we become," Sandy stated as the two girls clamored over a small wall. "Its true what they say, you cant teach an old dog new tricks."
Doris didn't respond, grunting as she pulled herself forward. The girls tiny muscles were already aching from this activity as they reached a rope bridge. "That's when we came up with an idea," Sandy said, as she now navigated the rope bridge. "What if we could establish a healthy lifestyle earlier in adults?"
Doris paused, her eyes going wide as she now stared at Sandy. "You mean you were going to turn me into a kid regardless?!?"
"No that wasnt the original plan," Sandy giggled. "But after seeing how far you took it on the treadmill I had a feeling this might be right up your alley."
Doris said nothing, watching as Sandy finished the rope bridge, the girl now encouraging her forward. Doris was nervous, despite the bridge only being a couple inches of the ground, she wasnt sure she could do it.
Taking a deep breath, Doris reached upwards embarrassed that she was barely tall enough to reach the high rope. Stepping forward the girl now slowly began inching forward.
At first Doris found the task difficult, her tiny arm and leg muscles straining. As she inched forward though an odd feeling crept over her. Doris's muscles didnt hurt as much, she seemed to be more coordinated as well. Even the highvrope didnt seem quite so high anymore. By the time she finished the rope bridge she had to admit she did feel better.
"So what do you think?"
"Well I feel good," Doria shrugged. "But look at us. We're still preschoolers."
Sandy gave a coy smile as she now pulled the two of them in front of a mirror. "Take a closer look."
Doris now studied herself and Dandy in the mirror. At first glance it seemed nothing had changed, slowly though Doris realized something. The girls clothing seemed a little tighter, the tshirts a little snug while their pants seemed a bit smaller. As Doris wiggled her toes she noticed her toddler sized shoes now seemed a bit too small on her. Turning to Sandy, she watched as the trainer now pointed to their necklaces.
Doris now looked closely at her necklaces reflection, her eyes bulging as she saw the display. "We're four years old now!"
"You've just gotten a years worth of exercise," Sandy stated. "A year that has given you an stronger body and established a foundation for what I hope will be a healthy lifestyle. But this is just the start. When your ready, we can move on to more advanced classes."
Doris nodded, still shocked at these developments. She now wondered what exactly she should do next?
