It began when I made her clothes disappear

New World, New History

In principle Greta had no issues with Jean’s wish. She didn’t know if it was because of the wishes or something deep down in me just wanted this world, but Jean’s wish sounded wonderful. A world of nothing but beautiful women, and a world of lesbian love? Sign her up. In practice she found it left a little to be desired.

“Jean let me see the ring.” she demanded.

“You aren’t going to put things back are you?” Jean hesitantly asked.

“Far from it, I’m going to take it several steps further” Greta responded.

Jean was intrigued, she wanted to see what Greta could possibly have in mind. “Take it then. What do you have in mind?”

Greta took the ring from Jean, and gave her a passionate kiss. She pulled away and began to explain herself to her lover.

Greta stared at the ring intensely. “The men of this world may not accept suddenly becoming women. If even 1% of them resist that’s millions of people. What of the old and sick, should they not get to experience our new world? What of the long dead? Will little girls be forced to grow up learning of the exploits of strange creatures called men? No I think we can do better.”

“What are you getting at?” Jean questioned.

“We’ve changed the world as it is, how about the world as it was?”

A smile came to Jean’s face. “Yeah I get it now, everyone will only remember our world. History will be full of names like Georgia Washington and Alexandra the Great.”

“Exactly, the world will be accepted by all because it will be the only one they’ve ever known.”

Greta held the ring high “I wish that mankind had always been womankind, and that history and the memories of everyone alive were all replaced by those of the new world.”

At first nothing seemed to change.

“Did it work?” Jean asked.

Greta pondered, until suddenly an epiphany hit her as if from the ring itself.

“This is a big wish, changing the past is a taller order than changing the now several times over. Whereas everything changed in an instant then, it will take time to change. However soon, by days end, our new world will have been the only one anyone has ever known. History will change, but the world will remain something like how we knew it. It’s writing backwards from this end point.” she explained.

“How will know when its done?”

“At the eye of the storm we’ll be the last to forget the old world. We will also remember the ring and our wishes. So let’s make just one more.”
Greta held up the ring one more time, and stuck her other hand out begging Jean to take it. Jean took it, seeming to understand what Greta had in mind.

They spoke together “We wish that our wishes cannot be undo, that this world is now permanent.”

Somehow they could feel the old world would never return now.

“How do we know it worked?” Jean asked.

“We just have to think, try to remember our school days and our fathers?” Greta replied.

“Our school days and our what?” Jean asked confused.

Greta smiled “Oh nothing, tell me Jean how does a woman get pregnant again?”

“Well I’m not the doctor, you are, but I’ll try. Women produce two types of gametes the sedens ovo and the iter ovo, commonly known as the sitting and traveling egg respectively. When properly stimulated during ovulation iter ovo are released during tribadism, which bonds inside the ovary with sedens ovo, thus the Mother impregnates the Mom....Wait is that how I learned it?”

“It is.” Greta explained, she too remembered learning this. “This is the new biology, the new sex-ed. What else do you remember now?”

Jean was ecstatic she searched her new memories. “I remember my Mom taking my mother dancing, having a crush on baby sitter, sneaking peaks from my parents naughty magazines. I remember learning of the Founding Mothers and Celebrating the holidays of the Goddess.”

“The Goddess?” Greta asked, though she too was starting to remember this.

“Yes the Goddess of the Saraic faiths. We celebrate the birth of her daughter on December 25, her daughters ascencion every spring, a festival to her grace in the fall, and most importantly of all Aphel Day. The day the Goddess drove out evil from the world.”

Greta smiled “Of course The Day of Change, supposedly the day the Goddess gave femininity to world. The ring was nice enough to make today a sacred day in the new calendar.”

Jean walked and embraced Greta. “We’ve made the world better.” She said holding back tears of joy.

“Yes we have my love.” She said caressing Jean’s head. “Let’s just enjoy the moment. All over men are slowly being reborn. History is being reborn. The world has been reborn. It’s all female.”

The two kissed and enjoyed the moment.
