...Giant sized versions of themselves!
The tiny Thrivesons could not believe what they were seeing.
In the room were exact replicas of the Thrivesons, wearing the clothes the original Thrivesons had when they began shrinking. Only, these Thrivesons were the normal sizes they were before the shrinking occurred.
But to the original Thrivesons, these replicas were giant sized!
"Holy cow!" said William, completely awestruck, jaw hanging.
"You can say that again, Dad." Andi said, just as awestruck as him.
"It's us!" Olly said in surprise. "Hi, us!" He added, waving, and even stranger still, the giant replicas turned to the Shrunken originals of the Thrivesons and waved at them. "Wow." Andi said. "Us are very polite. I never expected that we'd see us meeting us in the same room, albeit at different sizes."
"I'm not so sure." Lucy said. "We can't be us here and us there at the same time."
"It is certainly a strange thing. Why do we have giant doubles of us in our house?"
The 'doubles' seemed to be staring into space, as they seemed to be watching tv.
"I'd say this whole thing merits investigation." William said.
