You find an interesting trail on the Zoo's map leading off toward what is called "The Native Lands". As you follow the trail towards the exhibit you can hear the sounds of native american tribal music drifting through the air a rather spritual tune and it call's you onward. You can hear the hoopin and hollaring of people dancing and having fun in the distance.
As you round a large palm tree you find a large gathering of Native american's putting on a dance show and encouraging others to dance with them. Several of the dancers sport costumes representing the spirit gods of their old culture as the spin and dance with feathers swinging about wildly.
From here you notice one of the older dancers is trying to get others to join in the festivities and he's holding a rather inviting looking costume head. What could it hurt you think, you came here to see the animals not to mention have fun. Right?
