Ronnie’s eyes went wide as it landed on her.
“Huh, well wadda know.” She smiled.
“For somebody getting a whole day alone with Colin, you sure are casual about it.” Lucy said.
“Hey, that’s how I like to keep it.” the curvy Latina replied.
“So where do you wanna go?” Colin asked.
“Wherever the day takes us.” Ronnie blushes.

They drove through the old town district with the windows rolled down, taking in the sights and smells.
First things first, a walk around the museum, the pair tasking turns imitating the poses they saw in some old black and white photos. They snapped pic after pic until their lips touched and they made out on the spot... walking away as some parents glared at them. They walked around for a bit, looking over at some museums until Ronnie walked into the gift shop and left with a mug, fridge magnets, and two oversized t-shirts.
They went and sat at outside an old blacksmithing booth, just staring at the sky while Ronnie ate her caramel corn. Suddenly Colin had an idea, slipping away and whispering to the blacksmith. By the time she finished, he came back with something in his hand.
“What’s that? Hey!” Ronnie spat as Colin’s hands got in her face.
“Hold still...” Colin said.
It was a beautiful metal flower pin for her hair.
“I love it....” Ronnie smiles.
And then there was The Broken Pickaxe, the old fashioned bar on the edge of old town. Everything was great... okay the food was cold and greasy, but the drinks were something else. Shot after shot after shot... it all turned to a blur of dancing and stumbling and laughing...
