After that day, Mateo and his father agreed to don't use the music box against each other as long as they behave properly. Hector will be a more comprehensive and supportive father while Mateo will stop consuming drugs and alcohol.
For Hector, it was an easy task but for his son it was like ripping an arm off him. He can't say no to his friends and actual lifestyle. So, he had to do something else instead. He found a replica of the music box in internet, it was surprisingly similar, cheap and quite easy to get.
The next day, when his father was taking a shower. He switched the boxes and dropped the magic one in the trash can, it was perfect because the garbage man was coming and his father won't suspect anything.
When Hector came out of the bathroom, he was wearing just a towel around his waist. His son had already seen him naked countless times but he wanted to teach him about modesty and self-respect through that kind of action. He was walking to his room when Mateo suddenly took his towel off, his bare butt was exposed to the cold air as well as his dangling manhood.
"Mateo!!" Hector yelled. He can't believe that his son had done that. He immediately turned around and saw Mateo defiantly staring at him. Hector didn't tried to cover his swaying dick nor Mateo seemed alarmed of seeing it. "What did you that?!"
"It's my way to say that you don't have control over me anymore!" Mateo grinned as he took a cigarette from his pants and started to smoke in front of his dad. Hector didn't lose time and immediately ran to take the music box. He started to play it but nothing happened to his son. He was still cockyly smoking in front of Hector.
He didn't understand what's going on. The music box had always worked on him when Mateo used it against him. Was it broken? Or maybe it has lost his magical properties. He needed an answer and only one person could give it to him, Madame Illusia. He needed her but he didn't know where to find her. It's been years since they went to her magic show and now she could be anywhere or even dead.
"Do you need my help again, darling?" A mysterious womanly voice echoed through the house. Mateo was astounded by it but Hector already realized who it was. It was like his pleads had been heard by an angel.
"Please, Madame Illusia. Help me!" Hector begged as he kneeled. "My son is out of control again and your magic gift isn't working anymore."
"That's because that is not the music box I gave to you." Madame Illusia voice sounded through the walls. "I'm not an angel nor a benevolent being. I'm just a performer and I only came here because that kid has disrespected one of my treasures. But he isn't a very clever boy because he has replaced it with another one of my products and this one is even more interesting."
Mateo's eyes were suddenly wide open. If that music box was also magical what is it going to do to him. He didn't want to find it out. He needed to take it fast! He rush towards his dad but unfortunately for him, Hector had already started to play it.
"Nooooooo!!!" Mateo yelled but it was too late. He can feel his body starting to change, he didn't know what will happen to him but he didn't want to end up as a monkey or any other animal. Meanwhile, Hector was still using the music box, but he was too focused on his son that he didn't notice that he was changing as well.
"Oh, I forgot to say." Madame Illusia said. "This music box is special because it won't affect just physical bodies, it can alter reality as well. Unfortunately, if your son is going to be an animal... Well, his father must be an animal too. It's logic, don't you think so?"
Hector was terrified of what he heard, he immediately dropped the music box but it was still playing its disturbing melody. Mateo was already contorting in the ground and he had started to feel some pain inside. What is going to happen to them?
