Dr. Jekyll's face scrunched up. The concoction was more sour than she'd expected. "Well that was unpleasant" she said to no one in particular. "But now to see the results. Watch out world, here comes giant Henrietta!"
This growth-serum would change the world, she was sure of it. From super soldiers to firefighters to factory workers. Who wouldn't benefit from being 50% taller? And right here, right now, Henrietta was going to be the first to experience it! Starting out at a modest 5 feet, 6 inches, she was expecting to end up around 8 foot 1 or 8 foot 2. A warmth spread over her body. Although the taste had been poor, the liquid in her stomach was suddenly making her feel very good. It was halfway between taking a shot of brandy and kissing someone. Henrietta was suddenly very aware of her clothes. "Oh shit!" she said, jumping to her feet. "I'm gonna ruin my lab coat! Stupid! Why didn't I think of that before?" She arched her shoulders and her lab coat practically flew off her back with almost no effort on her part. "Huh, that was easy," she mused. "I guess I haven't started growing yet. Well, better get the rest off too."
She bent down to take off her shoes and immediately stumbled out of them. She stood up, confused. Surely she must have grown a little bit by now. Why weren't her clothes tighter? As if on cue, her pants immediately fell from her hips and pooled around her now-bare feet.
"What the hell?" she asked, annoyed. Henrietta looked down at her body and noticed her blouse was becoming baggier by the second. She pulled the neckline away from her chin and was shocked at how far it stretched. She could easily crawl up and out of her shirt if she'd tried! She looked inside it and watched as her bra fell off of her ample cleavage, letting her breasts swing free. They were just as large as ever, but somehow smaller too?
She looked around the room and noticed that the back of the chair she'd just stood up from was now at eye level. That meant...
"Oh no no no no" she said, spinning in a circle. "I'm not growing! I'm... shrinking!" With perfect timing her exclamation coincided with her bra, shirt, and underwear all dropping off her body and hitting the floor. She now stood in a pile of clothing, nude and 3 feet tall. She screamed in frustration, very away that her voice barely filled the room now.
"What the hell happened" she muttered as she ran towards her work bench. With horror she watched the edge of the desk slip slightly above her eyeline as she dropped down to 2 feet tall. She was naked and afraid and, she hated to admit it, the combination was starting to turn on her on. She squeezed her legs together and tried to ignore it. The warming sensation from earlier began to bloom and spread within her. Her fear combined with it and a group of nervous butterflies in her stomach dropped even lower and seemed to circle her reproductive organs.
