"I don't see why we have to wait for them to get started," said Paul, grabbing the camera. "Everyone should remember everything right? We can just work on fixing the two of us and if things go wrong, they'll figure it out."
Before Emily could explain that they'd all only retain their awareness if they were in the room, Paul lined up a selfie that had her behind him and...
*FLASH*
"Honestly, I don't see why either of them should really care," said Rick/Rebecca after a bit more reflection. "I mean, yeah, Polly's going to remember you as her mother not her father, but if we're happier like this, who cares? And I know Eddie and I used to go cruising for girls together before they started dating, but I'm plenty happy being a one man gal I'd think, and who knows, maybe he really will settle down with Paula?"
"You're right," said Olivia/Oliver, giving her a kiss on the forehead. "When they offer us a turn, there's no reason we can't just say no."
Meanwhile Paul, or "Polly" was gaping at the picture. Being older again was nice but he was still a girl, and outright shocked at how he was dressed. Emily too. They looked like a pair of goth teens ready to hit a rave. Black nail polish, black lipstick, black hair. Emily had a some kind of studded collar and no shirt at all, while Paul just had some skimpy bikini looking thing under some sort of fishnet bodysuit, and heels it was nearly impossible to walk in.
"OK, this is ridiculous. I don't know if I even want our better halves to see us like this. Should we take another before they- oh. Hi again." he said as Rick and Olivia rejoined them, crossing his arms over his chest in extreme embarrassment.
