“Now hang on,” Sadie stopped the trio, “If I could wager a guess, are y’all some kind of video game club?”
“Not just some kind of video game club,” the first girl in the purple hoodie and green hair announced, “We are New Leaf’s premiere video game club! ‘Sup, n00b!”
“Agh, Plague!” The busty, chubby girl with blonde pigtails and a Kirby shirt scolded, “What did Captain say about L337 SP34K ?”
“Oh, she said something like ‘don’t use it around normies who don’t get it’ or whatever,” Plague, it seemed, answered, “But hey, she’s one of us now! So say I, head recruiter for the Crit Kitties!”
“Hey now! Y’all just wait a minute!” Sadie cut in, “What makes y’all think I’m gonna get roped into your little club now?”
“Uhh, cuz I said so?” Plague crossed her arms.
“She’s the recruiter,” the third girl shrugged. This girl was dark, lean, and wore a tank top and afro buns.
“That’s right, Whisper!” Plague said triumphantly, “That’s why they call me The Plague!”
“So y’all just refer to yer selves by yer nicknames?” Sadie asked.
“I should hope so,” the big titty chubby girl replied, “Though we call them tags. My tag is BeanieBaby by the way! We should play Animal Crossing together after school.”
“Pfft! No way!” The Plague scoffed, “Big girl like her probably wants to play something a bit more intense, like Street Fighter!”
“Or she might like League,” Whisper suggested.
“Well, maybe I wanna play mah own game!” Sadie said, “Like... I dunno, Mario or something...”
“Hey, that’s the spirit!” BeanieBaby cheered, “I feel like we’re buds already!”
“Well the gurl needs a tag,” Plague nodded, “but we’re gonna save that for later. We got class to get though first!”
