Not wanting to lose it, and partially due to the ring's enchantment, Alex slid the ring onto his right hand.
"Shit, gotta get going, don't wanna be-" He started to hustle before getting a call on his phone. Alex pulled it out and raised an eyebrow at the caller I.D. "Really, a call from Becky now?" He thought.
"Hello?" He asked, not even attempting to try and sound happy at his little sister calling. "What do you want squirt, I'm heading to practice right now." He huffed.
"God, at least let me say HELLO first." She snapped back.
Alex rolled his eyes. Becky was his annoying younger sister. While he was 17, she was only 14. It wasn't much of an age difference all things considered, but it was definitely enough to cause some friction. She had curly brown hair, decent complexion, and was starting to come into her own so to speak. He didn't see it, as she still looked like his dorky sister, but he had to snap at some of his friends who brought it up now and then.
"Fine, helloooo." Alex greeted.
"Hi, so, did you move my makeup kit? I know I left it in the bathroom and you went in there last. I have my first date tonight with Brad and I NEED to look good." She yelled.
"Seriously?!" Alex groaned.
That's when he snapped back, not knowing that his words would accidentally become true...
